So as you previously “discovered” through the first three installments in this ongoing series about,  “how” extremely savvy entrepreneurs (such as yourself), simply do not have to rely on search  engine optimization strategies and tactics, in order to consistently generate tons of highly targeted  traffic! Correct?

You got that right! Now in part four, ladies & gentlemen we are really going to dive deep into “how”   our (hypothetical) extremely savvy local appliance dealer can, (and should) systematically and  strategically go about building their business.

And -in the process- create multiple streams of income producing    opportunities,without having to rely on traditionally outrageously expensive on and offline ad campaigns, in order to do so!

And in the process they will cause an avalanche of positive “flap yo lips” (FYL) marketing conversations to  be constantly taking place in both social and business settings alike!

They simply ask, “Mr. or Mrs. Small business owner and or service provider, if you could choose any one cutting edge item currently on display in our showroom and no matter “how” much it currently retails for, you could buy it at our actual cost, plus get a $100 dollar gas card to boot!

Provided you introduce both your extremely valuable employees and your extremely valuable customer base to our business through these exclusive custom  named VIP gift certificate discount coupons! What would it be?” And you’re done! )

Aren’t gross markups really cool or what? (And entrepreneur, you just have to trust that you simply haven’t even truly scratched the surface yet!  )

How And Why Strategic Email Marketing Absolutely Has To Be A Part Of Your Long Term Marketing Plans!

Now onto the strategic email marketing portion of our show. (Note: Before actually writing about this particular proven email marketing tactic, that I’m about to share with you.I took the liberty of calling and verifying with my paid email service provider, “if” and or “how” what I’m suggesting here, can actually be done!)

Courtesy of one the top local jewelers in the area, that just so happens, to want to be an active joint venture partner with such a progressive thinking business owner!

(They’ll either be physically at the store that day to pass them out or, the guy’s will get an extremely time sensitive new customer only VIP discount gift certificate at purchase, which they or their female recipient can redeem at the jewelers store!)

You Still Think Strategic Email Marketing Strategies Is Only For The Gurus And Guruettes?

Plus, they’ll also get a mouth watering gourmet box of chocolates and a three foot (lady killer) teddy bear to give her as well! And of course “no” pre Valentines day promotion would be complete without an in store local florist (standing) on the ready to sign these guys up for their yearly “Sweet Hearts Club” promotion!

Where they’ll send flowers on her birthday, Mothers Day (if that applies) and his wedding anniversary (and if it applies) Secretaries day!

And they’ll save a whopping 40% their very first year, just for signing up and paying by credit card for a years worth of service in advance! (He is so gonna be the man for about a week or two! )

Now ladies, when it becomes your turn to receive a gender segmented email, you’ll be instructed to click a link and see a drop dead gorgeous pair of women’s diamond studded earrings! That currently retail for just $350 dollars! ( Or X!) But they’re absolutely free to the first X number of ladies that come to the store and spend at least X number of dollars and bring a friend over 18!

I don’t know about you, but right about now, I’d say our hypothetical appliance retailer is looking pretty good!Don’t you agree? And it certainly looks like, they won’t have much trouble (long term anyway), consistently driving highly targeted traffic to their state of the art (mobile responsive) WordPress blog and or state of the art lead capture page!

  1. Building a list is very important for every business, luckily I have been doing this since long. Although I have noticed that many businesses are still not doing it or doing it wrong. They only use their list to send notifications about discounts and offers.

    I personally feel that a list should be used for building a relationship and not only for sending notifications about discounts & offers.
