Of course you’re 100% totally committed to your long term success, correct? And you like millions of others, feel that good old entrepreneurship (of some kind) could be the ticket to financial freedom.
Here’s the thing, while it looks great once you finally arrive, it’s the long (and at times) extremely hard journey, that practically everybody (either) forgets about and or just sort of underestimates!
Which is one of the main reasons “why” far too many otherwise serious would be entrepreneurs, gets completely blindsided, once they realize all (for lack of a better term), let’s say it’s a four letter word that rhymes with grit, they must learn to deal with! This post will briefly outline five such things!
It’s Really Too Bad The Gurus Didn’t Fore Warn You About This Side Of Entrepreneurship!
See, here’s the thing, you’re trying your best to provide a quality product and or service, at an extremely competitive price, plus provide quality customer service support, right?
So you can ultimately make more money. But along the way you’re gonna encounter the haters! The wannabe dream killers and the good old nay say-ers! So this list of five potential things you definitely need to be aware of.
1.) Entrepreneur, don’t ever forget that a certain percentage of your prospects (translated) not yet paying customers or clients, they think (or would) like you to believe, that they think they’re entitled to your best products and services and or your time, for next to little or nothing!
So if you’re smart, make sure there is a clearly defined line between ‘what’ you’ll do for non paying customers or clients and your extremely valuable paying ones!
2.) No one cares if your equipment malfunctions or your WordPress blog is currently under construction etc. They expect to be served and if you can’t, they’ll find a competitor that can!
3.) True haters are rooting (full time) for you to fail miserably! (And yes that unfortunately includes weekends and holidays!) That’s “how” they feel better about themselves! Rooting for others to fail. It gives them something to do! And feel better about their own mediocrity!
4.) You’re going temporarily run out of enthusiasm, and passion-from time time- and you’re going be temporarily frustrated as hell from time to time!
You’re definitely gonna experience more than (what) you think is your fair share of criticism! It’s just part of the deal. It’s like getting married, your spouses relatives and friends, are part of the total package.Deal with already!
5.) News flash! The world (especially) your (our) detractors, owe you/me nothing! And if you don’t know it they’ll remind you/us of it, every chance they get!
Yea, it really would have been nice if the gurus had fore warned us about this (semi) dark side of entrepreneurship! Any questions?
