So entrepreneur “how” many different so called marketing strategies and or marketing plans have you attempted in the last twelve months or so? And “how’s” it working out? You think it’s simply matter of needing more time, before your strategy will finally start to work? Probably not!
In fact, the more you dig, the more it will start to become obvious, that there is definitely a little more than that going on here!
Five Critical Questions You’d Better Answer Before You Make Your Final Decision About Your Marketing Plans!
(Otherwise You’ll Continue To Struggle And Spin Your Wheels!)
Entrepreneur the next time you get all fired up about the next “sure thing” marketing plans or strategies, maybe you’d better answer the following five critical questions!
Otherwise, there is an extremely good chance that you’ll (either) pick another strategy that’s not exactly right for you or you’ll try in vain to implement a strategy that’s beyond your current skill level! Plus, it may not actually fit your personality.
1.) Question # one: Entrepreneur “whatever” it is that your passionate about. Can you really make money doing it? Or is it really just a glorified hobby that you’re passionate about?
Because (if you haven’t) figured it out yet, there is a major difference between something you can actually make money at and something that’s nothing more than an enjoyable hobby, that you’re extremely passionate about!
Are people already spending money on it?
2.) Question # two: Have you accurately determined what the actual cost -in both time and money- are for you to properly implement, your greatest and latest marketing plans?
Because if you’re starting from total scratch (again!), then you know you’d better allocate a certain amount of time (and money) to at least get semi proficient at the fundamentals.Otherwise your real learning curve is going to take a whole lot longer and be far more expensive than you initially anticipated!
3.) Question # three: What are you already good enough at that you can at least partially monetize some part of that particular skill! For ex; if you already like to write. How soon can you parlay that skill into successfully blogging or (micro blogging) by successfully leveraging twitter.
Or creating profitable email follow up campaigns and or writing profitable sales letters or postcards etc.
4.) Question # four: What current (free or paid) marketing strategies really play to your current strengths and personality? If you like public speaking to any degree, then perhaps you should seriously consider creating audio pod casts and or doing local public speaking events to market your products or services.
Or if you’re really camera shy, then on screen videos are probably not the main thing you should be doing to try and generate business.
5.) Question # five: Are your marketing plans based on business model and industry that’s both growing and evergreen. Or is it based on some type of here today, gone tomorrow, non sustainable fad!
Is it strictly some short term fly by night sort of thing? Or can you really make a go it, based on the particular marketing plans you think you want to implement. Entrepreneur these five critical questions are merely a start, that’s for sure.
But you’ll need to answer them (as honestly) as you can, before you get way too serious about your current or future marketing plans. Don’t you agree?
