Five Potentially Profitable Reasons Why Your Small Business Definitely Needs A Paid Email Service Provider!

Okay, so when it comes to, (or better) yet, when it really gets right down to it.

You and practically every other serious, profit seeking small business owner, (and or) service provider, know that you definitely need to be systematically including some type (of cost saving), email marketingto your (short) and long term marketing plans, correct?

Good, (because) to this point, you and I are definitely on the same page.

Now of course, (if at all possible),you definitely should be pro-actively -how to problem solving-blogging, (at least) one or twice a week as well!

Because, (not only) does your ideal target market love, (cutting edge), and totally up to date, “how to” solution based content of all kinds!

But when it comes to consistently boosting your, (hopefully) keyword researched pages, and your overall rankings in the major search engines, like the “Mack Daddy” of them all Google!

It really helps if you frequently update, (regularly) publish fresh new, problem solving, keyword focused content, on your mobile responsive WordPress blog, at a bare bones minimum, of once a week! And along with that, consistently go about building your opt in email list as well!

(And just be ever mindful of these five critically important reasons, “why” your small business definitely needs a paid email service provider, to really make your online business work, exactly the way it’s supposed to!)

So What Are These Five Potentially Profitable Reasons Why Your Profit Driven Small Business Definitely Needs A Paid Email Service Provider?

Okay, right out of the gate, (let me just state), before all of you that are currently, hard at working building your “much needed” opt in email list, using one of the free, (and or) semi free email mail provider options, (out there) like the ever popular MailChimp etc.

Entrepreneur, you definitely need to know, and totally understand, that while some email mail service providers, (like) MailChimp, may in fact not charge you a penny, until your opt in email list, has reached 2,000 subscribers.

(During that time), you still can’t distinguish between “which” individual subscribers, actually opened your emails (and) which ones didn’t!

So, (as in the case) of effectively marketing to your opt in email subscriber list, while using one of the reputable, paid email service providers on the market today, you will know in an instant, which of your subscribers, to send a follow up email alert message to!

Successful Entrepreneurs Don’t Let The Illusion Of Something Being Free Get In The Way Of Investing In Some Much Needed Tools!

And with the free services, (no matter) which one you’re currently using, you won’t be able to!With that in mind, here are five potentially profitable reasons, your profit driven small  business, (and or) service, definitely needs to be benefiting from,a reputable paid email service  provider!

1.) Potentially profitable reason # one: First, (as just) previously mentioned above!Suppose you have a pretty good size opt in mail list of 1,000 subscribers, and one of your pre- written messages, went out on time, exactly as scheduled, and you had a 37% open rate!

First of all, that’s excellent! That meant (at least) 370 of your current subscribers actually opened that particular (pre written) follow up message!(370/1,000 =.37 x 100 = .37%)

Entrepreneur, with your paid email service provider, you could immediately turn around, and send another, (or the exact) same message, only to your subscribers, that didn’t open the previous email message you sent them!

And unfortunately, no matter which free autoresponder service you’re currently using, you won’t have access to that potential money making feature!

Strategic Email Marketing Is A Must! (Don’t You Agree?)

2.) Potentially profitable reason # two: With a paid email service provider, you can also do what’s (often) referred to as a “broadcast” email message.

This incredibly powerful feature, basically allows you to email your list, (on the fly), as often as you like, (without driving your subscribers crazy! 😎 ),to inform them about “whatever” you might think is appropriate at that particular moment.

(Extremely important note: Maybe you somehow managed to score a last minute podcast interview, with a prominent mover and shaker within your particular niche and you need to let your 1,500 or more opt in subscribers know about it.)

Don’t Let Free Alternatives Limit You Small Business And Or Services Chances For long Term Success!

3.) Potentially profitable reason # three: Another potentially profitable feature, that could quite literally turn out to be, extremely profitable for you is, “what’s” often referred to as A/B split (or simply split testing.)

Basically, this incredibly powerful feature, let’s you send two different subject lines to your list, in order to discover “which”, if either one produces the best response!

4.) Potentially profitable reason # four: Another really important, and often overlooked benefit, to using a paid email service provider, over the free versions is your paid email provider, carefully and periodically tracks your undelivered emails, and your emails (all important) “hard” and “soft” email bounce rates!

(Note: Your email bounce rate, will be covered in more detail in another post!)

5.) Potentially profitable reason # five: And lastly, with your paid email service provider, you have the added piece of mind, they literally work overtime, to make sure their email delivery rates, are as high as possible!

That way, the vast majority of your emails, at least end up in your intended recipients inbox. Not to be misunderstood here, it’s not that the free email service providers, aren’t concerned with your emails delivery rates.

Because they are! It’s just, they’re not actively tracking that and other extremely important issues, (that affect) the overall quality of your email marketing efforts, the way the paid email service providers do!

  1. These are all great reasons to invest in a paid email provider Mark. A couple of the first-time authors I mentor insisted on going with a free service their first time out and both quickly realized the disadvantages and had to start over. Another benefit of a paid service is you can use them to actually create online courses. I started out using my autoresponder this way and while I’ve moving to a dedicated service for my courses now it was an awesome way to get my feet wet! Thanks for the great tips!

  2. Hello Mark,

Email Marketing is an essential part of blogging. I am using MailChimp to do email marketing for my blogs. I didn’t face any problem when I do email marketing with MailChimp.

If people use paid plan of any email service, then they can get more options which are not provided in free plan and those options help to do email marketing more effectively. So that click through rate will be increased.

Thanks so much for sharing this informative article.

  3. Interesting article… I tried all the most popular email management services (aWeber, GetResponse, and Mailchimp) and so far the best one for me is Mail Chimp. I had a hard time with the other services, I think it’s because they’re not so user friendly and there is a learning curve. Mail Chimp was just easier for me to use. Then again, I don’t actively try to build a list, it’s something I’m working on at the moment. When the subscribers start to come in I’ll see if Mail Chimp still holds up. Thanks for the detailed article!

    • Thanks for your real world feedback Timothy!

Always greatly appreciated!First of all, I think it’s truly
amazing, how practically every body (myself included) has a preference
with regards, to which particular paid and semi free autorsponder service,
they feel is the most user friendly!LOL!

The main thing is, they need to be pro-actively list building, 24/7!

And whether they start out using a free autoresponder service or not, at some point, they
simply can’t ignore all of the enhanced benefits, of using one of the many reputable,
      paid email service provider options!

As always, thanks for taking the time to share your real world insights! They are always welcome
      and greatly appreciated!
