Five Incredibly Simple Things That All Extremely Savvy Bloggers Just Seem To Know!

Five Incredibly Simple Things That All Extremely Savvy Bloggers Just Seem To Know!

So entrepreneur, is it me, or doesn’t just seems like the really savvy bloggers that you I admire and respect, they just sometimes seem to have this sixth sense about what and what not to do! As it relates to blogging in general and marketing their extremely valuable products and services in particular.

Have you noticed that too? Seriously, they just don’t seem to be as negatively affected by adversity  (not to the degree) you and I are anyway.

They just seem (it appears) to have a totally different mindset, that pretty much most of the time, let’s them see/view the cup as half empty, even if there is no cup readily yet visible to rest of us.(What’s up with that?)

Who knows, maybe it’s simply all of their in the trenches real world problem solving know how. Or  then again maybe it’s simply the fact that once you’ve faced and conquered enough hurdles and faced enough adversity in both your business and personal life, you just develop that “can do” take no prisoners sort of attitude and they simply press on and on, until they ultimately prevail.

With all that said; here are (for what it’s worth) five incredibly simple (yet potentially) profound things (that I’ve noticed anyway) about the extremely savvy bloggers among us, that they just flat out seem to know and instinctively understand!

And as a direct result, they constantly keep moving forward. See which ones, you’ve noticed too! So What Are These Five Incredibly Simple Things That All Extremely Savvy Bloggers Just Flat Out Seem To Know?

(That The Rest Of Us For Some Odd Reason Just Haven’t Quite Figured Out Yet!)

First of all, you definitely need to know going in that we’re not talking about anything that’s necessarily earth shattering here! But still and all, take a look at these five incredibly simple, yet potentially profound things, that all extremely savvy bloggers/marketers just flat out seem to know and understand “how to” not only move their businesses forward as a direct result, but continuously profit from them as well!

(Hint: Totally coming to grips with and understanding this very first potentially profound concept, is extremely crucial to your eventual long term success!)

1.) Potentially profound thing # one: Entrepreneur, try as you may! The very most you can “ever” hope for with paid traffic of any kind, is to get a visitor to your site and or WordPress blog etc!

That’s it!After accomplishing that feat you’re done! Your part in the traffic generating process is officially over!

What they ultimately do or don’t do from that point on, is strictly up to them! And no you can’t put them in a “Half Nelson” (that’s an old wrestling term) for those of you that may not be totally familiar with it!

And force them to do anything! But yes, you can run paid “solo ads” and possibly compel a visitor to click over to some page of your choice, but ultimately they’re going to do what they want to after that!

Of course, you and I can and should do our utmost best to persuade them to take the action (s) that we want them to! But please understand, that ultimately the final choice is theirs!

2.) Potentially profound thing # two: Next, all extremely savvy bloggers just seem to know and understand that you can’t make a brand new first time visitor return to your site! Sure you can try to compel them to do so with some (hopefully) irresistible offer of some kind, but whether they ultimately do or not, will be decided by them!

Ultimately Just Know And Understand That You And I Can Only Control What We Do!

(And Nothing Else!)

3.) Potentially profound thing # three: (Newsflash!) Entrepreneur, short of paying someone and or a service to artificially do this sort of thing for you! You can’t make or decide who or which visitors (if any!) will share your extremely valuable content on social media!

Because (you know what?), once again, ultimately that decision is theirs and theirs alone! Sure it’s great whenever it happens! But you and I can’t control that! Yes, (you can!) and should join some type of reciprocating blog community, where you all comment on each other’s blog and regularly share each others content on social media. (I’m currently actively involved in a really good one!)

But once again, you can’t force anyone to do so!

4.) Potentially profound thing # four: You can’t control Google nor any of the other major search engines process to rank your pages! Say what? Imagine that. Yes you can and should consistently follow the most proven, up to date and (above board) on and off page SEO (Search Engine Optimization) principles, techniques and or strategies etc.

But ultimately, Google and all the other major search engines will do what’s in their best interest first and foremost!

5.) Potentially profound thing # five: And last but certainly not least. You know while it’s really a great ego trip and a nice little fantasy! And a great adrenalin rush when it happens! But you and I (try as we might!) simply cannot control whether or not the most influential power bloggers among us, will ever share our extremely valuable content with their highly coveted audiences and if they’ll ever feature us as guest bloggers!

First And Foremost Directly  Control What You Can!

Case in point, recently one of the blogosphere’s most highly respected and influential power bloggers (the one and only!) Enstine Muki, (much to my utter amazement and surprise!) reached out to me (and many) others and featured me on his highly visited and extremely well respected blog!

Not that was totally cool! And quite unexpected I might add! But here’s the real point! I absolutely had no real direct control over that happening! Ultimately, that was and is strictly his choice to have done so! You can and should read about “how” Mark Newsome can help your small business, but once again, ultimately the final decision to do so is yours! See what I mean?

So that’s why I said, (and hopefully) have amply demonstrated to you, five incredible simple (yet potentially) profound things, that all extremely savvy bloggers just flat out seem to know and understand! Don’t you agree?

  1. Oh yes, control freaks unite! Seriously, each of your points is spot on Mark. I know the social share point is especially touchy for many bloggers, so it never ceases to amaze me when I click a link on an interesting sounding article only to find a blog with little or no information about the blogger and no share buttons. And these aren’t personal blogs, I can think of at least 3 off the top of my head I’m familiar with that have n-o share buttons on the blog. Amazing!

    • I know exactly what you’re saying M!

Because I’ve noticed the exact same thing, with regards to no social share buttons
to be found even with a magnifying glass!LOL!

Before I go any further though M, I gotta share this with you! I’m so excited because the post
I just published minutes ago, has my very first animated gif image in it!

I’ve got this annual paid subscription to this membership site where they’ve got
all kinds of stuff to absolutely smoke a non techie’s brain (such as mine!) completely out!LOL

So after I embedded the animated image into my post, proof read it and published it, as I’m making my rounds to
post on the various social media sites.

As I’m posting in Google Plus, I look over and see that you’ve just published a brand new post and I
thought, I’ve gotta get my Marquita Herald fix!LOL!

And low and behold I log into my dashboard to check and see if I need to respond to any comments and who do I
other than your warm smiling face M!

I’ll be over there by no later than Saturday, because tomorrow is gonna be total chaos!LOL!

But thanks as always for stopping by and sharing your extremely valuable input!

      I do so appreciate!Many thanks!

  2. Yeah, because we can’t control these things, we should instead focus more on things that we can control. I like how you presented your ideas on things we can’t control as bloggers. For instance, we certainly can’t control social shares. We can’t force anyone to share our page to their social media accounts. But if we do have valuable things to offer like for instance really really good and helpful content, there is a bigger possibility that we get more social shares. In this particular case, we can’t control social shares but we can control the content we will publish.

And I also like the video you have included in your post. We should really follow basic things on blogging like getting our own domain, making our contact page and about page. With this people who will visit our site will have a clear picture of what we really are, what we can offer and how they can be able to easily contact us.

Thanks for sharing your insights with this article. Have a nice day!

  3. Hi Mark

Great post, and I loved the bits about “what you can’t control”.

I was absolutely astounded and thrilled when Enstine featured me (along with some other bloggers) on a couple of his posts. And I’ve also had “honorable mentions” on some other great blogs too. It gives you such a boost – psychologically, as well business-wise, to have been “noticed”.

What IS sad, though, is when bloggers miss out on opportunities that they CAN control.

So for instance I’ve just visited a blog with NO social media sharing icons and NO way to leave a comment.

What was even more scary was that this blogger showed his username – and it was admin. This is really an open invitation to hackers!

I was so concerned, I tried to use his Contact Me page to warn him. It didn’t work.

None of us were “born” with this knowledge. It took me AGES to acquire the basics.

So – like you – I really encourage newcomers to blogging to get some training, so you at least control what you CAN control!

Sorry – I’ve ranted on too long 🙂

    • Thank you for such an awesome and forth right comment Joy!

I always look forward to both reading your blog posts and your comments BTW!

And big congrats BTW for being featured on Enstine’s blog!

You definitely deserve it as you really have an awful lot of real world experiences
to share with any blogger/marketer, no matter what their current skill level is!

And that’s really unfortunate what you shared about that particular blogger not realizing
the potential harm that could come their way!

Online marketing certainly does come with tons of potential risk, so the more you know and knowing
the right type of experts really helps!

That was awfully nice of you BTW, to go out of your way to try and warn them of the potential dangers!

And you are most certainly right, when you shared nobodies born with this specific knowledge!

And it does (at least) it has been the case for me thus far, taking quite a bit of time
to at least learn the basics!LOL!

Although truth told, I know just enough techie stuff to be dangerous!LOl!

Always nice to hear from you Joy! And please don’t ever feel that your real world knowledge is
      on my blog ranting!

Because it’s not and I truly value it! And I’m definitely going to be investing in more
of Neals’ information products through your links!

Take care and thanks so much for stopping by and showing your continuous support! I truly appreciate it!
