Why These Examples Of Target Marketing Really Work!Part Five

Hopefully, after these first four installments of this ongoing series about effectively using proven examples of target marketing, your creative marketing mind as been, if not expanded just a little, at least you’re starting to appreciate the vast untapped marketing possibilities, that are available to you! Right?

Good. That’s an excellent start. Now in part five, before you really take the creative marketing plunge.

Please! Stop to consider this potential untapped marketing possibility as well. Remember in part four, it was pointed out, how the savvy residential real estate broker arranged for their joint venture appliance dealer partner, to make sure that in this particular case, the local high profile law firm owner (s) that came to view one of the broker’s four or five million dollar home listings.

They have an ongoing arrangement with the law firm, that every employee, associate and or partner (simply by) joining the appliance dealers opt in email and or mobile marketing list etc.

They get special new customer only VIP (40% off your first three purchases)  discount coupons for the entire office. And multiple offices, if the law firm happens to have multiple offices! In exchange for the law firm giving both the appliance center and the real estate brokers office, permanent links for one of their best market tested  banner ads and or display ads in their on or offline newsletters!

Entrepreneur, how much over the years, do you think that one simple marketing ploy is worth alone?

Here’s More Proven Examples Of Target Marketing Working Hard For You!

Ladies & gentlemen, think about these untapped potential marketing opportunities. In part four remember it was suggested that the savvy appliance dealer would sell some of these high income earners some really nice state of the art PC’s & Macs!

But now here’s a question. Do you really think every one of these high income earners is completely computer literate? No way! That being the case; the appliance dealer can and should offer to throw in anywhere from two to five hours in both free personal setup and training staff, along with their purchases.

Here’s the other thing.

Let’s say that one of the high income couples that views one of the residential real estate brokers four to five million dollar homes, just happens to be a local dentist, with two thriving offices.

Do you think he or she knows other successful dentist and or local six, seven and eight figure earners! Yep! So the appliance dealer will be sure and deck the dentists office and home with the very latest tech gadgets at cost!

Provided the dentist does two incredibly simple things!

1.) First, the dentist agrees to provide the appliance dealer with a video testimonial!

2.) Next, the dentist agrees to insert inside every employees check, about once every 90 days or so,one of the savvy appliance dealers best market tested, extremely time sensitive (40% off your first three purchases) VIP new customer only discount coupons!

And remember, they currently have two thriving offices! And all those employees, while they may not earn high six figure incomes, they love their tech gadgets as much as the next person! Don’t you agree? And they’ve got friends, family associates of their own! Do they not?

Real Target Marketing Is A Long Term Cash Cow!

Don’t You Agree?

And finally! ( Not really!!) At the risk of hopefully not sounding too sexist or old school thinking here! Let’s say just for the sake of hypothetical example. Let’s say the dentist is a man and his devoted wife and or significant other is fanatical soccer Mom!

And she attends every game and is also active in the local PTA and helps out with her daughters girl scout duties as well. But guess what Mom drives?

Why none other than  her very own gas guzzling Cadillac Escalate! (No tinted windows though!) Anyway, the savvy appliance dealer will be sure and install one of fancy TV’s, and sell it to them at their actual cost, so the kids can be entertained while Mom zips them back and forth from practice and some girl scouts activities etc!

The point is, what do you think the other soccer Moms will want to know, when their riding along from time to time! Now that entrepreneur, is just another look at some proven examples of target marketing at work! And the long term possibilities are endless.Don’t you agree?

  1. Mark,

It seems to me that you are not just talking about Target Marketing but also about Joint Ventures as you focus on your target market. What you are explaining is that a savvy business person will focus on the obvious, stated needs of their target audience and then add all sorts of goodies, at cost, so that the customer is more than satisfied and his or her acquaintances become attracted by the bonus and then get into the main product.

Instead of thinking short term and price gouging someone, we can view our business as long term, creating lasting and expanding relationships. We not only provide our main product but we are also prepared to offer whatever additional products and services that might help our customers to get even greater value from our main product or service.

This is brilliant. Thank you. We are not just offering random bonuses, but bonuses that truly add ongoing value to our business.

    Warmly,

So even if your resources are extremely limited, strategic JV’s can
an will help you add tremendous value to customers/clients experience with your business!

      are greatly appreciated!
