Example Of Poor Customer Service! Five Simple Ways This Example Of Poor Customer Service Kills Your Chances For Long Term Success!

Okay, who hasn’t seen example after example, of an example of poor customer service?

And remember that really bad example of the company who’s customer service was so out to lunch that as a direct result you or a loved one (and or) a sibling vowed to never ever do business with that company again?

Relive that rather negative experience now (and then) keep your thoughts on file,.

Because just a bit ahead you’re going to get a birds eye view of just how insidious (and potentially deadly) to your long term future success, those feelings your harboring really are.

But first, let’s revisit the fundamentals for just a second.Okay?

How A True Life Example Of Poor Customer Service Really Can Destroy All Future Business Opportunities!

As you already know (or as) you’ve discovered previously elsewhere on this blog, a really bad experience with another human being, (be it) personal and or professional can lead to some really bad, (and long term) negative fibes to say the least. And of course the same holds true for negative experiences in business. Right?

Case in point: A while back (yours truly) purchased this (home study) DVD package from a  so called respected online marketer. It was a recording of several of the top online marketers who were also presenters at this big time live event on IM (Internet Marketing.)

The package contained several excellent bonuses and the sales letter was extremely well written etc. So far so good right? Now comes the bad (mark that) really bad part.

It was paid for (thank goodness) via paypal and shipped 1st class priority, which meant it should have arrived within three business days. Well seven days went by and nothing.

That’s odd. It must be some type of glitch or the good old US post office just being themselves. The short of it is this, after several unanswered emails from the gurus company, they (and he) finally reply claiming there was some type of mix up and that my package was being shipped asap and be would be there by tomorrow.

By now it’s (sadly) it’s been three  weeks since my original purchase. Now paypal is brought in and (sadly) the Better Business Bureau for the state the company is registered in. The BBB sent me notice of there attempts (three times) to contact the company, that never officially responded!

From Out Of  The Poor Customer Service Skillet Into The Proverbial Frying Pan!

Are you sitting down? Ultimately (the so called respected IM guru) finally responded by sending me a check that bounced! Which (if it ever) comes up, yours truly still has his copy as proof of this incident.

Just in case anyone reading this is in someone way connected with this persons organization and doubts any of this actually happened.

Anyway, out of desperation to finally resolve the matter (at the time), the guru was one of the active participants in another respected online marketers student forum.

So the forum owner was made aware of my negative experience and sternly warned that if he continued to let this man misrepresent himself to the online community with this unresolved matter hanging in the balance.

Don’t Let Poor Customer Service Become A Part Of Your Long Term Branding!

I was going on an all out personal crusade and start systematically going around to all the major IM forums revealing my story, and including the fact that I made this particular forum owner aware of my situation and how he ignored me and, (therefore) through association was also guilty the next time anyone got burned by this guy!

Well, within 24 hours of my email to the forum owner, the guru I had the beef with finally made good on his refund of my money through paypal. But to date, any possible direct future business relationship is not ever gonna happen!

The moral of the story is (simply) this; on average any negative experience (as a direct result) of poor customer service, will be repeated to whomever will listen at least 500% more than any good customer service story!

This particular horror story over the years has been retold (closer) to 3,000 percent and counting! Please don’t get too complacent, because you simply can’t afford it!

Sorry, that’s just the way it is! And no, it doesn’t matter what your particular niche is!
