So is there anything you can think of (right off) the top of your head, as it relates to business of course, that is any more tragic than watching a cash starved, small business owner and or service provider, go belly up. Far too many otherwise extremely savvy entrepreneurs, struggle, by working obscene hours, alienate family members, put unnecessary strains on their personal and business relationships etc!
Miss out on far too many of the “once in a lifetime events” in their kids (and significant others) lives! Only to whined up placing an – everything must go- liquidation sale sign on their front door anyway! And that simply just doesn’t have to be the case.
Three Proven Marketing Tips That Just Might Prevent Your Bankruptcy!
First of all, let’s be crystal clear here! There is no “magic bullet” or anything else like a magic wand that you or somebody else is going to waive, that’s going to fix things instantly!
However, that being said: If you avoid these three (potentially deadly) mistakes and go (as fast and hard as you can) in the opposite direction! Given some time of course, you can and will be able to consistently make some money!
And quite possibly avoid bankruptcy!
1.) Proven marketing tip # one: Entrepreneur as soon as there’s even a hint of a nagging local recession. Unfortunately what do a staggering 95% ( or more) of your major cash starved fellow small business owners (and or) service providers do? They try and viciously cut costs whenever and wherever they can,right?
Have You Also Noticed How Doing The Exact Opposite Of Your Major Competitors Often Consistently Makes You The Money!
There in lies the first major problem! Huh? Because sadly, they’ll cut much needed investment in (both) long term money making training for themselves and their employees/associates!
No matter “how” hard you try to demonstrate to them, that superior customer service skills, will pay dividends from now on! They’ll -typically- counter with, how they simply can’t afford to do that right now! Or they’ll rationalize “how” much more they need their smart phone- which- truth told, would rival double 007’s!
With all the fancy bells & whistles! But sadly, their fancy smart phone doesn’t add one thin dime to their daily, weekly or monthly gross profits! (Be honest!)
Whereas, the right investment in proven (on or offline) marketing strategies, without a doubt would!
What else? They go (unfortunately) into all out overdrive, desperately trying to find new customers or clients! Why is this bad you skeptically ask? Two main reasons:
A.) First, while you’re spending that additional 500% more to find them in the first place, in order to create that new first time customer or client. Typically a staggering 75%-90% of it is upfront out of pocket expense! Further driving you even closer to bankruptcy!
You’re systematically overlooking where your real immediate profits (if any are), and that would be, by aggressively marketing to your current customers or clients! And ethically and strategically bribing them to refer you new pre- sold semi hot prospects!
Because, (don’t forget) there is a time gap between first finding a prospect and then (over time), converting them into a first time paying customer or client!
B.) And most of their first purchase is primarily expense! Not gross front end profit!
As You Become More And More Strategic! (Let Your Major Competitors Continually Miss The mark By Shooting From The Hip!)
3.) Proven marketing tip # three: Don’t think just because you work long hours, your business or service will automatically be or become massively successful! That may well turn out to be the case, but the overall toll on your business and family life, may not be worth, the few extra gross profits you might earn.
In any event, you apply these three proven marketing tips, and you may well avoid all too common bankruptcy!
