It involves strategic opt in email list building. Or offline database building. Of course if you’re building an offline database. You’ll still incur postage typesetting and other front end costs.

By holding your  list building free drawings in different departments. (Think about the long term marketing possibilities for just a second fellow profit seeking entrepreneurs. 😎

When they can’t help but notice your huge four way type of neon style sign. Promoting your free drawing for a state of the art. Top of the line barbecue grill. Which is typically retails for somewhere between $2,900 – $3,700 dollars or X.

(In reality it’s a grill yo were about to discount as a “closeout” sales item anyway, right? 😀 But this ought to cause a steady tidal wave of your daily and weekly in store visitors to leap at the chance to win the grill, correct?

Right about here is where it potentially gets very interesting. Since you only barbecue during certain times of the year, right? During the summer months.

That’s when this particular department heavily promotes high end barbecue grills. During the brutally cold winters. You’ll romote extremely high end coffee makers in other departments.

Strategically Segmenting Your Audience Is Definitely A Proven Marketing Strategy!

Consider the following. During the brutally cold winter months. Your free drawing is for a state of the art. High end coffee maker. Plus each month. The first grand prize winner. Is also eligible, (for an extremely limited time!)

To qualify for three or X number of 20 lb. bags of gourmet coffee. Which you or your major competitors get from one of your areas most popular. Non franchised gourmet coffee shops.

But they only qualify for the is potentially awesome bonuses worth X. If they drag a friend with them. To pick it up at the gourmet coffee shop.

And of course. As long as their guest also joins your opt in email list before they leave the store that day. They can save a maximum of up to 35 or X% off their total purchases. Up to a maximum of $1,500 or X amount of dollars.

And if for whatever reasons. They decline to join your list. They can 10 or X% off before hey leave. Are you finally grounded enough to take things to the very next level or two?
