Being An Entrepreneur: Means Leveraging Your Current Skills For Maximum Profits!Part Three

So hopefully, since this is installment number three, in this ongoing series.

By now, you definitely understand, and are beginning to fully appreciate, how and why, being an entrepreneur, means you have to constantly find some effective ways, to leverage your current skill(s) set to the max, correct?

Otherwise, if you have to constantly rely on, or limit yourself to, how much actual money, available credit, personal resources, personal experience and or know how you currently have.

Entrepreneur, it’s already a forgone conclusion, you will not be able to reach your full blown entrepreneurial potential, simply because your extremely limited resources alone, will not get you there, anytime soon!

That’s why, you and I, have to constantly rely on maximizing, various forms of leverage!Agreed?

So What Does Being A Entrepreneur Really Have To Do With Maximizing Your Current Skill Set To The Max?

Quickly picking up where part two left off.

Right now, a gazillion of your would be competitors, can quickly set up a Google Adwords, Pay Per Click (PPC) ad campaign, and start to drive targeted (keyword researched) traffic to their mobile responsive WordPress website and or blog, just like you and I can.

However, here’s the rub entrepreneur. What if you get the targeted traffic to your WordPress website and or blog, and for whatever reason(s), they not only don’t buy anything!

Which is most likely going to be the case, (99%) of the time, especially if it’s their very first visit to your site! And to top things off, they decide not to join your opt in/mobile marketing list either.(Bummer! )

Make Sure You Take Into Account The Total Lifetime Value Of Your Ideal Customer And Or Client!

Which means, no matter what, you’re still out the same amount you spent per click, in order to get them there in the first place.Right? Yep.

So the $64,000 dollar question is, how long can you, and or your severely cash strapped major competitors, continue to do so? My personal guess is, probably not long enough for it to matter? Right?

Marketing Leverage Gives Your Small Business Some Real Options!

On the other hand, when you’re leveraging the ever expanding reach, of another far more experienced online marketers expertise.

Or their current and or future blog audience, their current and future social media followers, and their ever growing opt in email/mobile marketing subscribers etc.

Simply by periodically providing, some extremely helpful, “how to” problem solving content, by way of guest posting on their blog, or being interviewed by them via a podcast etc.

How much free content can you consistently supply, (which BTW), I should remind you, has one of your best market tested “Call To Action” (CTA’s) in it!

Certain Digital Information products And Or Services Can And Definitely Will Lead To Some Multiple Streams Of income Producing Opportunities!

And occasionally, should also be sprinkled with some of your most relevant affiliate links in it as well.

These posts are constantly building and reinforcing your online credibility, while simultaneously demonstrating your specific expertise.

And to top thing off, the expert blogger, whose blog you’re guest posting for. Which in my particular case, (is my main go to coach and mentor) for both small business and social media marketing expertise, is non other than Gail Gardner of growmap.com fame.

Gail will continually help promote her blogs content, and build (her already) extremely loyal audience, and constantly growing audience!

Being An Entrepreneur Means Constantly Evolving!

These extremely helpful blog post, (and or ) podcast you get published on a highly influential  blog, such as Gail-s remains in cyber space and continuously works for both of you, (in many ways). For as long as that particular blog or blogs, remain active.

Unlike your Pay Per Click (PPC), and or paid banner ad campaigns etc.The moment you stop paying for them, because they’re no longer cost effective, those campaigns stop, and quite possibly (entrepreneur) so does your forward momentum.

Certainly it definitely makes sense to use some form of paid advertising and or paid promotions, to help get the word out, about your particular products and or services etc.

Most Semi Cash Strapped Small Business Owners And Or Service Providers Can’t Do Much Once Their Readily Available Cash Starts To Dry Up!

But once again, with this particular approach, you’re limited to how much readily available cash and or credit you have, and how long  you can, and are willing to sustain any particular paid ad campaign(s.)

On the other hand, when you’re leveraging other proven experts various assets, (such as their blog audience),there is no time, nor upfront money commitments needed, in order to sustain your forward progress!Right?

Becoming An Entrepreneur Means Creatively Leveraging More Than Just Your Money!

And as you leverage your initial guest blogging opportunities, to even more guest blogging and networking opportunities etc.

Now you’re no longer heavily relying on what particular resources, you personally have direct access to, in order continuously grow your business/service.Instead, the leverage you apply, constantly helps propel your business to brand new (ever expanding) heights.

Because without utilizing them, it can and quite possibly, take you years upon years (at best), to ever reach similar heights.

Especially if you have to rely primarily on your own (extremely limited) resources, to help get you there!Don’t you agree?

Being An Entrepreneur Definitely Means Keeping Your Most Viable Marketing Options Open!

  1. Oh yeah, this is a winner for sure! I think the biggest stumbling block for most bloggers inexperienced in this area is how to make the pitch. I am amazed sometimes at the less-than-professional messages I get from people wanting to guest post on my blog, pitch a product to my readers, or just have me review their book. For the love of Mike, research the blogger before you contact them, people!

Personally, I like to build relationships before I approach someone and find groups in Facebook and LinkedIn to be extremely worthwhile with many opportunities to leverage resources, guest post, guest on podcasts, and right now I’m developing a collaborative project with 12 women bloggers from several of the groups I belong to that is really exciting. So I couldn’t agree more with your point about making the most of our skills, resources, and creativity! Thanks Mark. 🙂
