Have You Seriously Considered The Long Term Benefits Of Partnering?
Again let’s say you’re just starting your own accounting, CPA or CFP firm. And even though you had an old established customer base with your old firm.
You’re not allowed. Or it’s frowned on. To try and poach your customers from your former employer. (What in the world should or would you do?)
My friend it’s best to immediately start generating. As much potentially bank account filling marketing leverage. As quickly as you possibly can.
So look around. And identify at least 3-5 local businesses or service providers. Who are not directly competing with. And strategically leverage their customer base.
(In fact it’s definitely in your best interest. To help any local business owners or service providers. Build their businesses or services. As long as they’re non directly competing.)
Strictly for hypothetical marketing illustration purposes only. Say you approach a local, non franchised printing business owner.
And here’s what initially propose. In order to inexpensively test. Of course any front or long term back end marketing, advertising or promotional cost.
Should definitely be based off your ideal customers. Total lifetime customer value metrics. So you don’t or won’t end up-upside down.
It Really Is About Marketing Your Expertise! (For Literally Pennies On The Dollar!)
So depending on what your individual or business clients are worth to you over time. (And in terms of “how” many viable referrals. Your typical clients refers to.
Over the duration/average lifetime they remain a client. You can probably easily afford. To 50-100% sponsor/pay for. A free drawing.
Where each month or quarter. (Or only hold it during the traditional slowest season for the printer. Or non directly competing vendor you’re partnering/ Joint Venturing with.
Say you offer a 1st grand prize of $500 or X dollars worth of printing to local business owners or service providers only! They either enter via the printers fully optimized, state of the art lead capture page.
(If they even have one. This way they or you strategically building your own opt in email list. And each month or quarter. The printer chooses the 1st grand prize winner.
If You Can Find Any Traditional Opportunities! (By All Means Become Proactive And Start Creating Your Own!)
Some local business owner or service provider wins the 1st grand prize. They’re happy, correct?
The 2nd prize is an extremely sensitive discount certifications. Where the recipient saves 15 or X% any purchase. And the 3rd prize is a free 45 -60 minute.

And rest assured. You’ll generate some first time customers. A percentage of whom. Will definitely convert over into long term repeat clients.’
