Email is so important to business today.
Most people don’t take as good advantage as they could, though, because they just treat their newsletter like it’s a sales opportunity. Much more, as you suggest, it’s a way to really build a relationship with your customers and clients. Not an easy thing to do, by the way, but email is a perfect method.
I like your emphasis on A/B testing, and you’re right… most of your competition won’t make the effort to go this extra step… so it’s your opportunity to outshine them all.

And I couldn’t agree more Coach! And I also have to add
to your sentiments.
Since the (so called ) online consulting field is so wide open,
because as you pointed out, if by chance your all too typical small business owner and
or service provider is consistently sending an email based newsletter of any kind more
than likely, at least 80% of it or more, is designed to try and generate sales first and foremost,
not to further nurture the ongoing relationship with their subscribers.
So with just a few more non complicated marketing adjustments, like good old A/B split testing,
of various aspects of their front & back end sales funnel, and providing more value
based newsletter education first.
They will be in a much better position, of trust both in the long and short term.
Which will most definitely lead to them being able to earn more money, much faster, and
over longer periods of time!LOL!
