Email Marketing Tips: Using What You Have To Get More Or What You Want!

So what type of consistent marketing leverage (of any kind!), are you currently generating in your resourced challenged small business and or service?

And hopefully, whether you primarily market on or offline, your business, is currently utilizing, some type of proven email marketing tips and or strategies.

And you already know why, correct? For one thing, if only ten percent of your 1,000 subscribers or even ten percent of your 100 VIP subscribers, bother to open your email message, and only 30% of them click on your link(s.)

You’re probably still consistently generating, a much higher response, than you (and or) your major competitors will, with your typical, dismally performing direct mail campaigns. But that’s not all.

So What Type Of Proven Email Marketing Tips Help You Convert What You Already Have Into More Of What You Really Want!

So imagine this true life case study, (which is currently a work in progress) why don’t cha. My computer repair business, entrepreneur friend Paul.

Recently shared some info with me, which literally caused my jaw to drop, as I started to consider the true front and back end, income producing potential, to what he was sharing. First of all, this extremely hard working entrepreneur, currently has three separate, successful computer repair/software development stores operating.

And he’s definitely looking to expand even more. And he rather casually mentioned, he currently has at least 10,000 of his residential customers email addresses.

He’s collected over the years, without he or his staff necessarily being strategic about it. If you can believe this. Now as impressive as this sounds, this is not what sort of floored me.

What he mentioned next did. He’s wondering and reaching out to me, how he might consistently generate, more commercial business, from traditional small business owners and or service providers?

Without constantly having to invest a fortune, in outrageously expensive, dismally performing, traditional advertising campaigns? This is when I was officially floored. And here’s why.

Some Times Your Very Best Entrepreneurial Ideas Get Lost Because You’re So Focused On The Day To Day Running Of Your Business And Or Service!

I asked Paul, how many of those 10,000 email subscribers, did he think, personally knew and or were related, or worked for, a reputable small business owner and or service provider?

He quickly (and typically) responded, he really had no real clue, as he never really thought about it. So I then asked, would it be reasonable, to suspect, at least 5% of his 10,000 email subscribers, probably personally knew, a local small business owner and or service provider?

In which case responded, it may even possibly be higher. To which I promptly responded Bingo. So here’s three initial marketing strategies, I strongly suggested, he inexpensively test, on a smaller scale first, and gauge what, if any type of positive response he receives. And then possibly roll it out big time.

It’s Always Best To Simply The Ways You Promote Your Small Business Or Service!

1.) First potential marketing strategy: Start contacting his email subscribers, maybe three -five hundred at a time.

And the overall theme of the subject lines, will be along the lines of, “Need affordable computer repairs?” And, “Need an extra two hundred dollars?” (Or something to this affect.)

The first email subject line, will invite these customers to his nearest store, to save X% off their next three repairs, provided they come in, before the date of the extremely time sensitive discount coupon expires.

And they’ll be given, a special two sided, laminated, VIP customer card, which is renewable annually, for just $5 dollars or less.

The other email subject line, will inform them, since the software development side of Paul’s business, also builds high end, state of the art websites, starting at around $2,500 dollars and up. But in order to to quickly generate some brand new business.

For an extremely limited time,Paul’s company will gladly discount the initial price, by at least $500 dollars. (or X.)And only charge his commercial companies, $2,000 dollars, plus he’ll gladly pay his customers, either $200 dollars in computer repair credits, or $100 dollars in cash.

As Your Lead Generation Skills Steadily Improve So Will Your Bottom Line!

BTW, let’s keep in mine, (in all likelihood), at least 15% or more, of Paul-s original 10,000 email, residential subscriber/customers.(10,000 x .15% =1.500.)

Have probably abandoned the original email address they gave him, since (unfortunately), his company hasn’t been (up until this point anyway), very strategic, in keeping in period contact with them.

So at least 1,500 of those email addresses are no longer active. Which still leaves somewhere in the neighborhood of 8,500, does it not? (10,000 -1,500 =8,500.)

2.)  Second potential marketing strategy: Next, I suggested he include on side of the index card, have his residential customers, provide two things. Print their first & last name, in the spot which says referred by.

They tell the small business owner/service provider to mention this, when they contact Paul, so his staff knows who to potentially credit, in the event the vendor decides to do business with Paul, and either have his company build them a commercial website or they decide to purchase some of the high end software and or consulting services etc.

Your Creative Entrepreneurial Ideas Will Definitely Help Fuel Your Growth If You Consistently Apply Them!

3.) Third potential marketing strategy: When Paul-s residential customer refers Paul some business, the first time Paul builds a commercial website at $2,000 dollars or X.

Paul will gladly, give his residential customer who referred the vendor, either $200 dollars in computer repair credits, or $100 dollars in cash.

But starting from the fourth referral and beyond, they automatically either get $200 dollars in computer repair credits, or $200 dollars in cash, from now on.

This $200 dollars in cash for life, once they have referred four paying customers, who at least have a $2,000 dollar website built for them, should cause, at least some of Paul-s extremely satisfied residential customers, to jump on social media, and start bragging to friends, family and co-workers, don’t you agree?

By consistently implementing, these proven email marketing tips, should definitely add a little more to his steadily improving bottom line, don’t you agree?
