You greet them and set the initial tone, by sending an initial, “Welcome” email message of some kind.And quickly reinforce, what main solution(s) your series and or checklist/cheat sheet,webinar and or tele-seminar replay will be providing them with.
In other words, remind them the solution and or potential solutions, your free lead magnet giveaway will provide them with.
Because believe it or not, (according to) some extremely reliable sources, a staggering 60% (or more) of your cash strapped small business owners, and or service provider competition, is not bothering to implement, this critically important, proven first step component, to their email marketing campaigns!
And I have no clue, how and what type of messages they’re initially sending, in their very first few email messages, but they’re missing a tremendous, (not to mention) relatively inexpensive opportunity to bond with their target audience!

2.) Major email marketing campaign component # two: Along with the all important, initial “Welcome” email message, ladies & gentlemen, you can and definitely should send a separate “Thank you” for subscribing email message as well!
You can, if you prefer, combine the two into your initial “Welcome” email message. But this is often referred to as the “Welcome” extension email message as well.
And in this separate email message you just briefly outline, exactly what your new subscriber will be immediately receiving, by way of your free, lead magnet giveaway.
And what they can expect going forward, with regards to your future, ongoing, pre written (autoresponder) follow up series, and occasional unscheduled “broadcast” email messages etc.
Plus, a proven ninja email marketing tactic, the vast majority of your major competitors are not effectively and consistently utilizing is this.
In your follow up “thank you” for subscribing, “Welcome” extension email message, offer your subscribers, a tone setting, totally unannounced, additional free valuable resource of some kind, as an additional downloadable gift.
And it doesn’t have to be anything fancy mind you! Maybe it’s an additional free, one or two page cheat sheet/check list or another 30-60 minute, link to a webinar replay. A three to seven page white paper, and or PDF file or additional seven page ebook etc.(Something they can digest fairly quickly, but they’ll totally appreciate!)
More Times Than Not Simple Email Marketing Strategies Can And Will Make A Big Difference!
But closer to home, your second “must have” email marketing component, is your-pre written- ongoing autoresponder follow up series. Be it three or 52 initial, pre written follow up messages.
(Important note: In the case of an initial 52 week, pre written email follow up series, a CPA, Accountant and or CFP, could write (or have written), a 52 tip, (delivered once a week), ongoing follow up email series where they provide one or two, proven tax tips and or financial,estate planning strategies tips per week.)
Because a ton of your major competitors,(and rumor has it), as much as 75% of them,aren’t using any type of pre written, ongoing follow up email series messages, to convey the benefits of their products and or services, (and or affiliate products and services), to their subscribers, in order to build a solid bond with their subscriber base.
Again, this is where the vast majority of them try and shoot from the hip, with regards to their email marketing campaigns.
And often, more times than not, fall short of the their email campaigns full profit making potential.Primarily, because they have no formal plan and or proven-email marketing– blueprint to follow.

3.) Major email marketing campaign component # three: Initially, the third major component, your overall, long term email marketing campaigns, is your wrap up, conclusion email messages to series/ecourse etc.
In these messages, here’s where you definitely sprinkle your links to your sales pages or affiliate links products or services, along with asking for vital feedback from your subscribers.
Basically, you want to create some type of -ongoing- engagement (on various levels) with your subscribers.
So you ask for feedback throughout your initial follow up series, and you use this feedback, to create additional resources and to further customize, re-vamp and update your ongoing follow up series.
So it’s even more relevant and helpful to your target audience.On the other hand, unlike a surprising number of your major competitors, (ladies & gentlemen) do not attempt to rely, on sending, unscheduled “broadcast” email messages, as your primary form of email marketing.
