Hopefully you agree there are definitely some less complicated ways. And there are definitely some much more effective ways. When it comes to strategically getting the word out.
When you’re initially starting out. Especially offline. You really need to maximize the potential bank account filling marketing leverage. Which is readily available to you or your major competitors simply by asking your current and future vendors. Because themselves and their current and future customers, employees and vendors etc.
Have both direct and indirect constant access to different types of centers of influence. On various levels. Don’t you agree?
Please Don’t Or Stop Over Complicating Getting The Word Out About Your Business and Service!
To start things off with a relatively simple, hypothetical marketing example. (Which as always is being used strictly for hypothetical marketing illustration purposes only.)
Ladies & gentlemen please take an extremely close look at the feature image for this particular blog post. The young lady has a bullhorn and she looks like. She’s either about to use it. Or she’s already in the process of using it, correct?
But “how” effective and profitable is to yell at your semi to extremely limited audience? Because usually when you’re initially starting out. And you’re not quite fully established to any degree in your particular local marketplace just yet.
You just don’t have the financial resources or highly influential connections established yet. To strategically and economically take things to the very next level or, correct?
Look For Even More Proven Ways To Monetize Your Various Income Producing Assets And Or Resources!
Your vendors for the most part. Really don’t come anywhere near close to maximizing the gross front or back end revenue readily available to them. Because by and large a staggering 97% of them or more! Are solely laser focused on the initial front end of their sales funnel.
And most aren’t even aware they have a potentially profitable back end sales funnel they could systematically monetize. So all that potential gross revenue is systematically being left on the table.
Entrepreneur since they already know, like and trust you. By merely pointing out the myriad of previously untapped marketing possibilities readily available to them.
They are 200- 500% more likely to be hyper receptive to your various Joint Venture (JV) and or cross promotion proposals. Case in point. They may already have their own opt in email list of 13,759 or X number of local subscribers. (Or there about. :-D)
But for whatever reason(s) they rarely or barely communicate with them via email. Your major competitors could at least inexpensively test the following marketing strategies and tactics. Let’s say you own a local, non franchised pizzeria. Or some other non directly competing business or service.
Entrepreneur Don’t Be Afraid Or Hesitant To Perform A Free Profit Producing Resource Analysis For Your Most Trusted And Reliable Current And Future Vendors!
In the above mentioned scenario. What if you or your major competitors strongly suggested they send their subscribers. One of your best market tested, extremely time sensitive discount coupons.
Initially on your traditionally slowest days of the week. 😀 And just depending on the overall response you receive. You could offer to do at least following:
A.) Offer to allow the host vendor(s) the opportunity to purchase X number of pizza and wings and soda at your actual hard cost. Any time they spend at least X amount of dollars. 😀
B.) Give all of their current and future employees. Laminated annually renewable cards. Unless you have an app developed. Where they automatically get lifetime savings of X off any purchases they make. Plus do something really cool for them price wise on their birthday.
And these savings are grandfathered in for life. As long as they pay to have their cards inexpensively laminated each year. So even if they quit, get fired, geta new job with another local company etc. Their discounts and other perks remain in check. This ought to cause a semi tsunami of positive word of mouth and mouse buzz. Don’t you agree?
