Content Marketing Strategy: Three Ways Using It Makes Google Fall In Love With Your Site!

Entrepreneur are you married or serious about anyone special? Hold on, there’s definitely a method to the madness. Remember when you were romancing or were being romanced by your spouse and or significant other? You or they sent flowers and candy, on the regular right?

And all the other little things that caused the two of you to fall madly in love! Remember? Just so you know, unless you start adhering to the following three proven SEO principles, Google and the other major search engines, will never fall in love with your site and or WordPress blog.

This is how and where a really good and carefully executed content marketing strategy, will definitely serve you well!

Three Simple Ways A Proven Content Marketing Strategy Will  Make Google Fall In Love With Your Site!

Just to make sure every bodies on the same page here; when you read the term content marketing strategy, it’s simply referring to any and every form of educational “how to”-problem solving- content your company produces. (Or will produce.)No matter what  form it may take.

But here’s the thing; unless your site(s) can keep those eyeballs engaged (on your pages) long enough for them to click on some of Google’s (adsense) ads. Google can’t increase their revenue.

So needless to say; the longer you can keep those eyeballs engaged on your website and WordPress blog etc; the more Google will fall in love with your site(s) and start systematically ranking your pages higher in the search engines!

So let’s take a look at three relatively simple ways that you can use to strategically get Google and all the other major search engines, to fall in love with your site.

1.) Lower your bounce rate: Your “bounce rate”  is what happens when your visitor-unfortunately- immediately leaves your site, without going any further into your site. Google  doesn’t get the chance to make any money, so to show their appreciation, your site doesn’t move up in the free organic listings!(Which makes it a whole lot harder for you to make some money from the free listings!)

You figure out a way of getting your visitors to go deeper into your site (romance Google) and your site will (over time) move up. And the way you can systematically get your visitors (especially) your first time visitors to go deeper into your site, is by strategically using internal linking to other relevant pages (posts) on your site.

2.) Social engagement: The more social bookmarks and shares you get on social media, (aka) social proof, the better Google rewards your site. Because basically, all those shares and bookmarks signals to Google and the other major search engines, that your site’s content, is a proven source for that particular keyword and or keyword phrase.

So by placing your site high on page one of the free organic search listings, Google has a much better chance of getting some clicks on their sponsored (paid) ads.

3.) Get lots visitors to leave relevant comments: The more visitors that engage themselves on your site by routinely leaving relevant comments on your site.

Means the more time they’re actually spending engaging on your site. Which raises the time spent on you site. And that’s another really important key indicator, that Google and all the other major search engines look at, when their evaluating your site and where (if at all), it will rank in the search engines rankings free (organic) listings.

(Remember: blog commenting is about overall “quality” not just quantity!)

Bonus Tip:

4.) A fourth benefit is, that it can also be used as a way of thanking your most loyal customers and clients. It’s makes a really nice un announced giveaway! But back to Google (for just a second), Google is in the business of selling advertising web surfers (aka) your online visitors.

So the more relevant and problem solving your overall content marketing strategy is, the more Google falls in love with your site(s.) Any questions?

  1. Hi Mark

The comments visitors leave on my blog are very important to me.

First, they’re great for getting to know your readers. And secondly, they’re a form of social proof that tells new visitors that your blog is popular and the place to be.

I’ve never thought about comments in terms of the time people spend on your site.

But you’re so right – a healthy comments section means more time hanging around on your site (both writing comments and reading other visitors’ replies).
