Back end marketing   (Because Sometimes It Can Be Or Become Far More Lucrative Than You Currently Realize!)

You are familiar with the term back end marketing, correct? But have you had the opportunity to utilize it yet?

Can you see how you might be able to utilize it in the not so distant future? There are literally tons of profit seeking small business owners and or service providers.

Who could if nothing else. Start proactively utilizing their businesses or services to generate additional side income. And just depending on how proactive they (or you) wish to be or become.

Take a look at the featured image for this particular post. For just a moment let’s say that’s your hair salon. More than likely a staggering 97% of the owners of these type of non franchised, mom & pop shops.

Don’t make a dime unless their shops are open, correct? And there are definitely some salon owners who sell additional hair case based products or services.

On the back end of their main products or services. But for the most part. They don’t consistently earn enough steady income to really make any substantial revenue.

But that’s primarily because the gross profit margins on those various products or services are rather miniscule. Compared to the overall untapped marketing possibilities.

Which could be set up through various types of income producing  JV (Joint Venture) revenue sharing arrangements. And of these type of revenue sharing arrangements.

Just depending on how proactive you wish to be. You could potentially form these type of arrangements with more than one local, non franchised, non directly competing vendor.

Imagine the following potentially profitable scenario. A very popular women’s fragrance distributor. Offers to help the shop owners build their business and revenue.

Either on the initial front or long term back end too. Strictly for hypothetical marketing illustration purposes only. Suppose the fragrance distributor allows the salon owners as well as any stylist who wish to participate.

They can offer any of their customers. As an upsell bons gift worth X. For every customer who spends for X.

They automatically win an extremely time sensitive discount coupon. Where they win a 32 oz. bottle of fragrance of their choice. When they come to your store to redeem it.

If they come alone they only save 10 or X% off the current retail price. However, simply for dragging a friend with them to your store with them. Who’s at least 18.

They get their 1st 32 oz. bottle at your actual hard cost. And as long both they and their guest join you or your major competitors steadily growing opt in email list.

They both get to buy another 32 oz. fragrance of their choice. Plus they’re both automatically entered into a free monthly drawing. For a chance to win two 64 oz. fragrances of their choice.

This is an X dollar value. This a solid strategy for initially building some positive word of mouth and mouse exposure, agreed?
