As you previously discovered in part one of this series about “how to” really put the grand back into grand openings! 

Basically you’re going to create a community of 1,000 VIP first time customers club!

And these first one thousand ( or first 100) new customers, or clients, as a direct result of your grand opening (or opening) of another office, if you provide a service of some type.

They will become your positive word of mouth fanatics, that will definitely help you grow your business or service, without always having to resort to constantly spending an ever increasing amount on your upfront out of pocket,(outrageously expensive) traditional advertising costs!

 Why Your Grand Openings Are Just The Beginning!

Let’s focus on one of the five marketing concepts that was mentioned in part one.

After “Best Buy” has established their “first 1,000 customers VIP club membership. What if they go a step further and once every three months, they send a special VIP alert email and or text and inform all their members, that during the coming weekend, Saturday & Sunday only!

They will be raffling off ten $1,000 dollar flat screen TV’s! All the members have to do to be eligible is spend at least $50 dollars, (or X) in your particular case!

The other shoppers will definitely want to know the how’s and the why’s, right!? Of course! But here’s where Best Buy takes advantage of all the inquirers!

You Don’t Need A Whole Lot Of Money To Steadily Build Customer Loyalty!

Customer service will inform the non VIP members, that while they can’t technically be a part of the VIP first 1,000 (or X) number of customers club! They can still join your “Preferred customer club!” 😀

As a preferred customer club member, they get special perks too! For one thing, once a year on their birthday,(and or on their wedding anniversary), they can come into the store, and buy any one item at Best Buy’s actual cost! Up to $500 (or X) dollars.

As long as they spend at least $200 dollars, (or X) in your businesses particular case!

 How To Use Your VIP Members To Build An Enviable Community!

What if once every 90 days, or twice a year Best Buy invites all their VIP members to a special private barbecue/pizza party, where Best Buy lets their VIP members preview any new products they’re about to roll out!

It would only cost each members twenty dollars to attend, but it’s only five dollars, if they bring a non member guest whose over 18 with them!  😀

Best Buy supplies soda, food and they also make really cool announcements of other members!

Like upcoming wedding announcements or wedding anniversaries etc! The birth of a new born or silver wedding anniversaries etc! Best Buy supplies all the food, drink and gourmet desserts!

Don’t Overlook And Or Continuously Ignore The Under Utilized Direct Selling Opportunities!

But here’s the really cool part, every VIP member present automatically gets enrolled in a free drawing.

And once every hour, a Best Buy rep will reach into a grab bag and the VIP named drawn will win some really cool prizes like!

A.) Best Buy will pay your rent or mortgage payment for one month! You just submit the necessary paperwork! Say what?  😀

B.) You’ll win a special 90 day discount card, that allows the card holder to get 50% off any purchases over $100 dollars ( or X), for the next 90 days!

Sixty percent off, if they bring any non VIP member with them to the  store, that’s  over 18.

Over The Top Customer Service Is A Surefire Way To Steadily Build Your Own Business!

C.) They get to buy ten DVD’s for just twenty dollars!That equates to just $2 dollars apiece!

But here’s the real kicker! The whole time these events are unfolding! The non VIP member guests are chomping at the bit! Just wishing they could be a part of the exclusive “VIP first 1,000 customers club! Right? For sure.  😀

But since (technically) they can’t! You can best believe a high percentage of them will opt to join Best Buy’s “Preferred customer club” right then and there! Of course they’ll be given a special time sensitive 30 (or X% off) “buddy plan” coupon!

Grand Openings Allow You To Create Additional Sources Of Income!

Here’s the point; they’ll enthusiastically go tell all of their friends and family members etc! They’ll tweet and post all over social media, especially on FB etc! Right?

And all the while you, (or in this particular illustration), Best Buy, (and or major retailer X), will continue to benefit from this mushrooming on and offline positive word of mouth buzz! Will you not?
