So you definitely started your on or offline business, in order to consistently generate profits, did you not?

And any time you can -both- leverage various assets, lower your cost, while maintaining your overall quality, this too is a desirable outcome, is it not? Agreed.

Even if you used experienced tele- marketers to try and phone all of your prospects and or customers. Think of the upfront, out of pocket expenses you would surely incur.

You need X number of business phone lines, correct? You’d also need a separate room and or location, where they could try and call as many numbers per day, as they could, correct?

And in the end, they would have reached some, but not all of your customers and or prospects, correct?

And even if you used fairly inexpensive snail mail post cards,(unfortunately) you’d have to have them re-typeset, three times.

1.) Email marketing mistake # one: First and foremost, (please) do not go to the trouble, of spending money to try and build your opt in email/mobile marketing list.

And then (for whatever reasons), not send either, your pre written, follow up drip campaign messages. And or your not send any periodic,unscheduled’broadcast’ email messages to your subscribers.

Because on average, you and I, lose about 5-10% of our subscribers, to various forms of email marketing attrition. And one of the most common reasons is, your subscribers simply forget about you and I, if they don’t hear from us regularly.

 2.) Email marketing mistake # two: Next, rest assured, it’s not just because, (yours truly) has extremely mature eyes! 😀 

Try and use font sizes in your email editor, which are at least in the 14-16 range. Certainly you don’t want your text super large. Other than your main power headlines and sub headlines etc.

But try and stay away from the little tiny print, which (definitely!) strains your readers eyes, and causes them to not read your messages.

Which ultimately cost you and I sales.Ouch.

3.) Email marketing mistake # three: If you’re not segmenting your list, in some form or fashion. Shame, shame on you. Because doing so, is a proven way, to better target your audiences wants.

The way you’re currently utilizing your various email marketing campaigns. Would your subscribers, consider you more of a hunter and or a farmer? Huh?

Meaning; if they perceive (you and I), merely to be hunter, only interested in trying to make your first or next sale.

Then you’re perceived as purely a hunter!Far more interested in your own self gain, than theirs!On the other hand, if they perceive you and I as farmers.

Then then realize, you’re interested in cultivating a rock solid, long term relationship.

5.) Email marketing mistake # five: And finally, effective email marketing, is about establishing rock solid trust with your subscribers, right?

So they initially open your/our emails, read them, click on our links and buy our products, services and affiliate products and services.

Over and over again, right? This is your/our ultimate goal, is it not? None of this is likely to happen, if you continually write emails, which are somewhere between 70-90

characters in width. It’s a proven fact, the longer your email message width is, the more your readership drops off.Ouch. So please don’t go there.

Think newspaper columns, (like my Internet marketing), email specialist guru, Shane Farrell (of) IM- Rebels.com fame teaches. Think newspaper columns. Notice how slim and concise they always are?

This is not an accident. Shorter columns, have proven to be far more engaging.

So you can -either- continue to buck and resist, what’s proven to work and continually struggle.

And or, you can embrace these five, incredibly simple tactics. And watch your email marketing campaigns, get dramatically better. The choice is yours!
