Of course, you and I are doing whatever you/we possibly can. Provided it will help with proactively growing your business or service, correct? But you may wanna at least lightly pumped the brakes.
When it comes to diving head first into using outrageously expensive, hit & miss traditional advertising mediums. Because usually before you successfully test enough to actually figure out what actually works. You run out of both money and patience.
And your market place for the most part. They never even noticed you and I were there to begin with. Your money’s gone. And so is part of your confidence and patience as well. And this is definitely not where you want to find yourself, correct?
Whose Says The Gurus Automatically Have Access To The Very Best Lead Magnets?
Of course it also depends on ‘how” you and or your major competitors define lead magnets. Does it not? As briefly mentioned in part one of this ongoing series. “What” if your local, non-franchised photography studio. At least inexpensively tested the following marketing strategies or tactics.
They purposely allowed the owner(s) as well as the employees of at least 3-5 or X number of local hair and nail salons. As long as they allow your photo studio to display their portrait size picture of both them with their kids or animals etc.
On the walls of their hair or nail salon. You and or you major competitors will do the phots, either at your actual hard cost. Or for just 5-10 or X% above your actual hard cost.
Either way, you know sooner or later. The local women who frequent those shops. At least some of them will definitely want to get some photos of their own, right? And for literally pennies on the dollar. You and or your major competitors. Will systematically generate some first time customers for literally pennies on the dollar, correct? 😀
Sadly Far Too Many Aspiring Entrepreneurs Are Consistently Leaving A Ton Of Money On The Table!
What if you and or your major competitors, in expensively tested the following lead generation strategies or tactics. Say this baby store JV (Joint Venture) or cross promotional partner. One of their slowest days of the week is Thursday’s.
You or your major competitors could set up portable booths inside the baby crib store. And take an sell thumbnail size photos to he babu stores customers. Say for 10 or X% off. Or they can get them at your actual hard cost. Simply by joining you or your major competitors op in email list. Before they leave the store.
And because you at least have some reasonable idea “what” you ideal customers, total lifetime value metrics are. You might also allow the first three or X number of women on that particular only! Who spend over X amount.
They automatically get one free portrait style photograph. They can schedule to get done at a later time. But it’s an X dollar value. And it will also create some great, free, positive word of mouth and mouse buzz for the participating retailers, right?
Are you starting to get the hang of strategically building your business or service>? For literally pennies on the dollar. Using some form of community.
