Okay I definitely get it ladies and gentlemen. Especially if this is your very 1st or 2nd visit to my blog. (Because for the most part we’re still glorified strangers, correct?
So you read the phrase hidden profit centers. It most certainly sounds appealing enough, correct? But at least one or some of your immediate thoughts has to be. Your specific business or service is unique, right? 😀 (Come on admit it! Fair enough.)
But here’s the $64,000 dollar – eternal burning question placed before you. Profit seeking entrepreneur. Is your business or service so unique, it doesn’t ever require paying customers or clients in order to stay afloat? 😀 What say you now hotshot?
Would You Seriously Consider Profit Sharing At Least Some Of The Hidden Profit Centers Someone Helped You Discover?
As you recall in part one of this ongoing series. Aweber my paid email service provider of choice. (For whom I’m currently an active registered affiliate for. Just saying. 😎
Their outstanding, (not to mention!) Perennial award winning service was used in my strictly hypothetical marketing illustration. (Please see part one for all of the particulars.)
As you vividly recall. To date Aweber says they roughly have about 120,000 customers utilizing their excellent products and services.
(Again I literally have no idea if or how they separate the paying or non paying accounts from one another. 😎 Since Aweber doesn’t currently offer any live customer service reps over the weekend. Or on major holidays in the US.
What “if” a mere two or X% of their 120,000 subscriber base. Decided it’s definitely worth it to them. To invest an additional $15 or X amount of dollars per month.
On top of what they’re already currently paying. But to take things a potentially profitable marketing step or two further. What if Aweber (or extremely marketing savvy service provider X.) Decided to at least inexpensively test the following.
If It Turns Out There Are Some Previously Undiscovered Income Producing Assets Or Resources Currently Buried Within Your Business Or Service! (What’s That Potentially Worth To You?)
Again strictly for hypothetical marketing illustration purposes only. What if Aweber offered their new service for a 60 or X day free trial basis. 😀
And lets say an impressive 10 or X% of their 120,000 subscriber base proactively utilized the service free for 60 or X number of days. Which means they could now now call on the weekends or any major US holidays which happened to fall in that particular time period. (BTW 12,000 is 10% of 120,000. Just saying entrepreneur. 😎
And after that. An impressive 40 or X% of the 12,000. Decide to retain access to the service. For an additional $15 or X dollars per month. Which means an impressive 4,800 of their subscribers. (12,000 x .40% = 4,800.)
Decide to keep paying the additional $15 dollars or X per month. So Aweber now grosses an additional $72,000 dollars per month. (4,800 x $15 dollars per month = an additional $72,000 dollars. 😀
Next Aweber announces that every trial customer who upgrades to full paying customer. And pays for the service one year in advance. (They not only save an additional 15 or X% off their total.)
Your Marketing Creativity Just May Be The Much Needed Spark That Ignites The Long Term Profit Flames!
But Aweber will also hire some of the worlds top Internet email copy writing experts. Do host a series of free 90-120 Q & A sessions.
Of course Aweber will have all of them professionally recorded. 😀 And some of the most popular sessions will have additional sessions added.
And each trial subscriber who not only upgraded to the full paying service. Before their 60 or X day trial period ended. Not only will they save X% for pre paying a full year in advance.
But if for whatever reasons! They decided to cancel their subscription for this new service. (Guess what entrepreneur?) They still get a page with links to every recorded session. And its theirs to utilize from now on! Which makes each individual session.
Just depending on “what” each particular expert currently charges per hour. An X dollar value! 😀 And of course Aweber will also make these recordings available at a future date.
To their regular paying customers. For some type of slight discount price. For either three sessions or more. My friend, how’s that for strategically tapping into at least some of your hidden profits? Of course it’s worth at least inexpensively testing, right?
