Remember the famous saying, notorious -career- bank robber Willie Sutton had. When asked why he and his gang constantly attempted to rob banks. “Because that’s where the money is.”
That pretty much sums things up, does it not? Agreed. However, what (if anything) does this notorious bank robber-s famous quote, possibly have to do with you or I? Well, possibly everything or nothing.Huh? Depending on whether or not, you’re truly sick and tired of constantly fighting an up hill battle.
Because while you or your major competitors, consistently struggle, (not to mention) potentially going broke, in the process of trying to grow or scale your business or service. It’s very possible and highly likely.
It’s your marketing/promotional approach, which definitely needs to be adjusted asap.Say what?
Please seriously consider the following train of thought. It’s obvious you’re serious about strategically growing/scaling your business or service. As fast and as efficiently as possible. Otherwise you wouldn’t be investing in reading, (hopefully) not skimming this particular blog post. Agreed? Great.
So Why Keep Fighting An Extremely Frustrated Up Hill Marketing Battle? (When A Few Simple Marketing Tweaks Can And Definitely Will Set You On Your Way!)
Here’s a quick question. Let’s suppose you or your major competitors , (either) send a direct snail message postcard, text message, a direct snail mail sales letter or a segmented opt in email message to your subscribers etc.
And you do so, once every six months or so. And depending on which medium yo use. Your overall response rates are literally off the charts. Do you really wait another six or X number of months, before you send a follow up message or two? Of course not.
What’s the overall point you ask? Simply this.
Did or have you heard about podcasting legend Joe Rogan signing an exclusive-$100 million dollar marketing deal to only broadcast future episodes of his outrageously popular podcast, including and of his past episodes), exclusively on Spotify-s networking. Going forward.
A couple of incredibly important principles definitely need to be pointed out here.
First.) Ladies & gentlemen. You must understand. no individual or corporate entity, which has $100 million dollars to invest in anything or anyone. Should be considered “dumb’ or misinformed money. Huh? Meaning: Since they have that type of money to invest.
They definitely know a thing or two about how to consistently make it in the first place. Agreed? For sure. So if they feel investing $100 or X number of millions on the initially front end is definitely worth it to them over the long term.
You gotta know, they see an awful lot of previously untapped profit potential. Right? Absolutely.
Get In Front Of The Marketing Wave And Ride It! (Instead Of Constantly Trying To Buck And Swim Against The Incoming Waves!)
Second.) With that type of investment being made by a major influential player in the podcast hosting space. (Which truth told, is still in it’s infancy stage.) It’s a clear signal to the rest of us. Meaning: The savvy extremely marketing cutting edge entrepreneurs among us.
You and I. Need to be (either) creating our own, niche-d- focused podcast. Or appearing as frequently as possible, as “guests’ on as many relevant podcasts as possible.
Because the long term opportunity bell, is currently ringing extremely loud! Who knows for how long or to what degree? So it’s best (entrepreneur) for you and I.
To get in on the ground floor and start laying your foundation and strategically positioning your/ourselves. Don’t you agree? (BTW, speaking of positioning yourself as one of your industries ‘go to experts.
