However, before you temporarily get all bummed out, you should seriously consider the costs of some of the alternatives, like direct snail mail post cards and or enveloped letters etc..
Obviously Strategic Email Marketing Has It’s Up Front Out Of Pocket Cost AsWell! (But Compared To The Alternatives It’s A Bargain And Then Some!)
In order for you (and I) to send 1,500 direct snail mail postage cards, each time, you have to pay for the postage and the typesetting. And these costs will definitely eat into your long term gross profits, of each mailing.
If there are any gross profits to eat into, in the first place.Plus, even though your direct mail post cards are being mailed locally, you’ll still experience a day or two lag between when they’re sent out and when they arrive.
And don’t forget, if you decide to mail, first class enveloped letters instead of post cards, you’re upfront out of pocket cost just went up even further.

Your subscribers didn’t join your list, just so they could read some hired gun copy writers fancy email messages, written for the gurus.
They joined your list, in order to get to know you and your company/service better. So please don’t scare them off prematurely, before they’ve actually had a chance to get to know, like and trust the real you.
