Seven Simple Things You Gotta Consistently Do To Make Your Email Marketing Campaigns Successful!

Okay so you’re finally convinced some type of market tested email marketing campaigns definitely have a place in your current marketing mix. Major congrats BTW. (But just between you and me. What the heck took you so long?) After all. By now you’ve probably heard or seen the stat. At least a gazillion times.

Which says some of the top businesses or mega brands in the world or top six, seven and eight figure earners per year. Online marketers in the world Consistently generate outrageously large ROI’s (Return On Investment) of 4,400%. Say what?

Meaning for every dollar they invest in their (carefully crafted), multiple tested email marketing campaigns. They usually receive about $44 dollars in return.

The really good news is. The rest of us mere mortals. (Yours truly included!) Don’t have have to feel bad in the least or somehow inadequate just because (to date) your/our best email marketing campaigns rarely yield just about a three to one return.

(Entrepreneur this is still a 300% return on you investment. Trust me when I tell you. The titans on Wall Street would readily accept consistently yielding a mere 300% return on their investment portfolio.

But let’s quickly face the cold hard reality. Before any o this can and will consistently happen. You’ve gotta get your strategic email marketing ducks properly positioned. As you’re about to discover…..

Who Says Strategic Email Marketing For Small Business Or Service Providers Has To Ultra Time Consuming Or Super Sophisticated?

Case in point. Have you ever gone out on a personal first date. At right out of the gate. You instinctively knew. Things simply weren’t gonna work out. (Be honest!) Anyway.

Believe it or not entrepreneur. When it comes to consistently implementing certain market tested email marketing strategies and tactics. Your best email marketing campaigns definitely need to include certain proven fundamentals. Especially in the beginning.

Otherwise the elusive 4,400 (ROI) you keep fantasizing about. Will remain just that. So let’s quickly take a look at seven proven email marketing fundamentals. You simply have to start including in all of your current and future email marketing campaigns.

Otherwise you dramatically increase the odds of your opt in email subscribers either:

 A.) Continuously ignoring your email messages. Both your pre written follow up (drip campaign) sequences. And your unscheduled “broadcast” email message alerts as well.

B.) Or simply unsubscribing from your list(s) altogether. (Big hint: If you’re not consistently running an unsubscribe rate of anywhere from 1-5%. Your marketing efforts are still just a little too broad.

Because you and I want opt in email (or text message list) which are laser targeted and focused. Not massive amounts of subscribers who are really not that interested in what you’re offering.

And believe it or not entrepreneur. It all starts 9or ends!) with your initial email marketing message. Right after they “confirm” they want to receive email messages from you or your major competitors. Say what?

Introducing Seven Proven Email Marketing Marketing Fundamentals You Simply Gotta Start Implementing Right Now!

1.) Believe it or not. Just like the all important initial hello and nice to meet you is critically important to your very first date. So to (entrepreneur!) is your all important initial “Welcome” email message to your opt in subscriber(s.)

Because it firmly reinforces and re-establishes and sets the overall tone of what’s to come. Be authentic. Talk to me/them the exact same way you would an extremely close friend or relative who reached out to you for your proven expertise, product or service.

Be brief, get to the main point. And invite them to reply to you and ask for help or clarification. Plus suggest they check out this proven paid low cost resource by including either. An affiliate link to a resource you highly recommend. Or a proven low cost resource, product or service of your own.

Because when your/our subscribers open your initial “Welcome” email message. Emotionally they are at their highest peak. Leverage this short lived marketing/promotional opportunity.

Strategic Email Marketing Definitely Isn’t Hard! (But You’ve Gotta Have A Proven Plan And Consistently Implement It!)

2.) First of all. If or whatever your subscriber(s) joined your list for. Make sure they have been giving all the necessary link(s) or access to it. By the time you send your initial “welcome” email message. And remember to write (craft) each message in your series or additional follow up (drip campaign) email messages.

As if you’re writing to one incredibly close friend or relative. Even if you’re a major corporate conglomerate. Your subscribers didn’t opt in to the corporation. Instead they joined your list to connect not be spoken at but pleasantly spoken to.

3.) No matter “what” your main goal of any email message is. Be it to entertain, educate, sell or announce this and that.

You’ve gotta be sure they’re always valued based in some way. And not simply sent as an excuse to try and sell or promote whatever.

4.) And don’t forget or neglect to always have some type of market tested “Cta” (Call to Action” at or near the end of every email message you send. Direct your subscribers to do something which advances along the path to your ultimate goal.

Please Don’t Or Stop Neglecting The Long Term Profit Producing Potential Of Strategic Email Marketing!

5.) Don’t confuse your subscribers by having too many links directing them to -too many resources in the same email. It’s okay to have the same link pointing to the same source 1-3 times max. Until you’re a far more experienced and successful email marketing.

6.) Entrepreneur make darn sure your all of your email messages “subject line” screams and answers, (using curiosity) whenever possible. It answers your subscribers evergreen burning question. Which is “What’s in it for me?” “And why should I bother to open this particular email message?”

Your goal is to try and as this burning question as best you can. Before you even attempt to write your email. What are you trying to accomplish with this particular email message.

Know your benefits to your end user. And always write from the you -your perspective. Not the I, we, me perspective.

7.) You always want to A/B split test adding or reinforcing the major benefit(s) in the main body copy of your email messages.

Because some of your ideal subscribers. Read your email messages “Subject line.” And then quickly skim down to your messages P.S. So this is an incredibly valuable piece of marketing real estate. Don’t squander it. Like the vast majority of your major competitors consistently do.

Going forward. While there is definitely “no one single thing” you and I can do to consistently generate short and long term email marketing profits. Consistently implementing these seven proven email marketing campaign fundamentals. Will definitely move you or your major competitors a whole lot closer to doing so. Don’t you agree?
