Here’s a quick question for you. And ladies & gentlemen please think long and hard before you answer it as honestly as you can, okay? If one of the worlds most successful entrepreneurs strategically uses email marketing campaigns.
In one particular instance to gross as much as a billion (with a B!) dollars in a single day. Shouldn’t you and I at least strategically add some type of email marketing to our promotional tool kit?
Clearly no one is suggesting simply by building your very own opt in email list. You and I or your major competitors are likely to gross anywhere near a billion dollars in our entire lifetime. Let alone in one day.
But entrepreneur whether you currently market primarily on or offline. Or whether you have a business or service. There is definitely room for some type of strategic email marketing campaigns. As you or your major competitors are about to discover.
Who Else Wants To Know How To Create Red Hot Leads Starting From Scratch?
Just in case it’s not clear. The featured image above is from one of mega best selling authors “tony Robbins” outrageously popular live events. Typically anywhere from 3,000-20,000 fanatical fans will attend his live events.
And literally tens of thousands attend his virtual events. And Tony’s Linkedin profile page says he’s both a life coach and business strategist. This being the case.
Let’s say one of Tony’s (or major influencer X’s) best market tested, stand alone fully functional landing pages initially breaks Tony’s attendees/opt in email subscribers into at least three different major categories.
For more laser targeted, customized future drip email marketing campaigns. Because more than likely at a 20,000 attendee live event. His attendees have varying degrees of interest, right?
1.) Laser targeted category # one: This group is primarily interested in Tony and or his top JV (Joint Venture) or cross promotional partners various laser targeted life coaching/self development products or services. Including both their lower and higher end products or services.
2.) Laser targeted category #two: This particular group is primarily interested in learning “how to” start some type of potential profitable on or offline business or service.
Without having to automatically borrow money from traditional sources like banks or credit unions. Or utilizing venture capitalist. Or leaning on friends and family members.
3.) Laser targeted category # three: These men & women already have on or offline businesses or services. And they want to learn “how to” systematically scale them for literally pennies on the dollar. Just like the ultimate insiders do.
So their ongoing follow up email drip campaigns will consistent primarily of some of Tony and his top JV and cross promotional partners, best market tested products and services relating to business growth.
It Definitely Makes Sense To Segment Your Audience On Or Offline As Best You Can! (Don’t You Agree?)
Typically your average marketer who runs a series of paid offline ads in local newspapers or runs a series of paid late night info-mercials. And then directs the viewers to attend a local free 90-120 minute preview workshop of some kind. (Especially pre-covid.
They rarely i ever separate their audience into beginners, intermediate or advanced attendees, right? Because clearly if the course or program they’re marketing is “how to” make money investing in stocks or foreclosed real estate properties. (Those two examples are strictly being used for example hypothetical marketing illustration purposes only.)
Clearly not everyone attending the live or virtual event is an experienced expert in those particular subjects, right? No way, so doesn’t it make far more marketing/promotional sense.
For you or your major competitors to segment (strategically group) each particular level of experience together? Why send glorified beginners intermediate or advanced follow up message material. When clearly, it’s not quite where they currently are just yet.
And vice versa. What possible good does it do you to send an advanced stock market investor beginning material. This is “how” and ‘why” you and I or your major competitors systematically lose potentially valuable opt in email or offline subscribers.
Entrepreneur The More You Or Your Major Competitors Customize Your On Or Offline Follow Up Campaigns. ( The More Profitable You Can Ultimately Become!)
But just for a moment let’s take your focus off of a major influencer and incredibly marketing savvy entrepreneur like Tony Robbins. Because more than likely, you’re thinking ‘how” much easier it is for any man or woman who consistently earns tens or hundreds of millions of dollars per year to be that strategic. (And of course you’re right.)
So once again let’s use a local. single location, mom & pop type of yoga studio owner for our hypothetical marketing example. Say what? And the two them get a $25 dollar gift certificate to a local, non directly competing vendors store. Whose one of the yoga studio owner(s) top JV (Joint Venture) or cross promotional partners store.
Of course they should A/B split test different ethical bribes. But the bottom line here is this. The yoga studio owner(s) can systematically generate some potentially make account filling marketing leverage. (Just like a major influencer such as Tony Robbins does.) Using strategic email marketing campaigns. Don’t you agree?
