Email Marketing Campaigns: How Often Do Yours Create These Type Of Results?

Hopefully (by now!) It’s no longer a matter of should you be utilizing (as often as possible!) Some type of results driven email marketing campaigns, correct?

Because no matter what type of products or services you market and or promote. Both on or offline. The strategic use of long term follow up drip email marketing definitely makes sense. Does it not?

Besides ladies & gentlemen. How often can you or your major competitors rather inexpensively contact your ideal customers or prospects.

Two or three times a week or more. For literally pennies on the dollar? Plus potentially generate sizeable income each time you do. That’s definitely not such a bad benefit, is it?

If You’re Gonna Bother To Implement Any Type Of Potentially Profitable Drip Email Marketing Strategies And Tactics! (Why Not Maximize Your Revenue As You Do So?)

Ladies & gentlemen, along with other profit seeking entrepreneurs. Is it okay to share with you the overall results of a recent email marketing campaign? (Thanks, I think you’ll enjoy reading about this.)

First a little background story. So you can better appreciate the context of “how” these particular results ultimately came about. (Just like you!) I too am on a few of the most influential, successful and recognized gurus online opt in email  list(s.)

This way I can carefully research at least some of what they consistently do. 😎 (Are you with me on this?) So I get this email from none other than Grant “Mr. Ten X Your Productivity And Revenue!” Cardone himself!

And his subject line was “I Need Coaches!” Which definitely caught my immediate attention. So I proceeded to click on the subject line and opened and read the entire body copy.

Hoping to “discover” what he was promoting. (Besides, who knows. Maybe his expert email marketing team was or already had A/B split test that particular subject line.

If so, you or I can successfully piggyback off their extensive research. 😎 )

So What Can The Average Stiff Possibly Learn Which Is Worthwhile Simply By Following One Of The Many Online Marketing Success Gurus?

I definitely aimed to find out. So after reading his rather short email and clicking the only link in the message. I decided to market test his exact same ‘subject line” with my extremely valued subscribers. 😎

Along with a few trackable strategic marketing twists of course. First of all, I was going to send my subscribers a non pre – written “broadcast” email message.

And in order to create a relatively simple A/B split test opportunity. 😀 The other reason is. I wanted to be able to immediately track any given results.

And whether or not the two different subject lines I was gonna be split testing against one another. Resonated, or to what degree. With my particular tribe/audience.

The other thing is. Since I already have in excess of 800 pre -written autoresponder messages already loaded into one of my autoresponder, (follow up drip campaign) sequences. (For this particular list. 🙂 I didn’t want to simply add in this particular test.

And wait X number of months. Before I knew the results.) BTW, I’m constantly adding more & more pre- written messages to this particular sequence all the time. As you definitely should be doing too!)

This Is The Little Closely Watched Details Your Major Competitors Constantly Skip Or Ignore To Their Own Peril!)

So I sent the “I Need Coaches!” Subject line in a broadcast email message earlier in the morning. About 9 am EST. And later on the same day. After getting and reviewing my “Quick stats” report from Aweber.

I  could do a quick analytical assessment and proceed from there. The second email subject line I sent. Which in essence was the “B” of my mini split test experiment.

It read “How Did He Get In This Position?” I went on to briefly explain. Above the original email message. (Because remember, for the most part. The overall body copy of the two emails were identical. 😎

All I did was A/B split test the main subject lines. (Offline this would be your offline main power, “what’s in it for me?” headline.)

And here was the overall results. In terms of my true “open rates” combined from both emails.

Because I simply created a separate segmented list, from the subscribers who for whatever reasons. Didn’t open the first email message.

I named it “did not open I Need Coaches. (Pretty freaking original, right? 😉

Entrepreneur If You’re Not Ruthlessly Tracking Your Email Campaigns! (You’re Not Only Shooting In The Dark! But You’re Definitely Leaving Some Of Your Long Term Gross Profits On The Table Too!)

So once I combined the overall open (not sales conversion!) rates of the two related broadcast email messages. It came to an impressive 29.71%. (Or 29% as a practical matter.)

So my question to you is this. When was the last time, one or any of your email marketing campaigns. Generated anywhere near close to a total 29% open rate?

(Of course I’ve had some a whole lot higher. And a ton of them a whole lot lower too! 😎 ) Typically your messages early in your initial “Welcome” series.

While your ideal prospects are still relatively hot and oh so curious. Your overall open rates consistently tend to be much higher. Then they usually start to dip. (This is when and where your ongoing strategic testing comes in.)

(Sometimes gradually. Others times your open rates will drop like a rock! ) And even your hottest subscribers tend to stop clicking on your links quite as much over time.

Entrepreneur do those subtle hints give you any potentially profitable ideas? About where in and when, in your initial “Welcome” sequence. You should at least test, including your best, high end offers. And or best high end affiliate link offers! I sincerely hope so! 😎
