So How Would You Build A Really Big Mailing List On Just $20 dollars A Day!Part Two

So How Would You Build A Really Big Mailing List On Just $20 dollars A Day!Part Two

As you previously discovered in part one of this ongoing series about consistently building a highly responsive and (not to mention) really huge mailing list on a measly $20 dollars a day or less!

After learning the far more enhanced details, that main power headline is not quite as far fetched as it initially seems, is it? In fact; one of the main (and all too common) reasons that far too many beginning on and offline small business owners and or service providers, struggle mightily to consistently build any type of database.

Is because they focus far too much on the actual mechanics of building their list!Huh? Meaning, they stress over which paid autoresponder service to use and whether or not they should test using a popup box etc.

When they need to spend far more creative marketing energy trying to determine why any potential or current repeat customer and or client would actually want to join your list! In other words, spend far more time working on (testing) and improving your irresistible offer!

And it will matter far less, where your actual opt in box is located on your WordPress blog or “where” you actually place your offline (in store “free drawing” sign etc! Think of it from this perspective, if you found a $100 dollar bill today!

Would it really matter to you if you found it stuffed inside a book you picked up to read at Barnes & Nobles or if you opened a delivery from Amazon and it was stuffed inside! Ultimately, who really cares right?

So What Is The Real Secret To Consistently Building A Highly Responsive And Really Huge Mailing List?

(Without Personally Spending A Whole Lot Of Money That You Really Don’t Have!)

So quickly getting back to our (hypothetical) marketing example of the successful local Mom & Pop bakery, that’s temporarily cash strapped.

Although, to use these next two (proven) marketing variations, that doesn’t have to be the case! Let’s say that the Bakeries owners have been local members of the local chamber of commerce for years. Which means over the years they’ve personally established and maintained various ongoing business relationships with several other successful local business owners of all types.

Which explains why one of the co-owners of a local well established appliance center contacts them about a possible joint venture  (list sharing) possibility. Here’s what they discuss.

The marketing savvy appliance retailer (currently) knows that on average, they spend anywhere from a low of $500 dollars to possibly a high $1,500 dollars in single day to attract brand new first time customers to (both) their store and or website etc. Through the various forms of traditional advertising methods.

But they’d love to participate in the financial end of the daily free drawing concept that the Bakery is currently implementing. So here’s what they agree to do. Since the appliance dealer can easily afford to invest $250 dollars per week or X.

They give the Bakery the cash each week and here’s (just) a small creative sample of what the Bakery will start doing with the cash. Whenever they contact one of the guaranteed daily grand prize winners about picking up their free dozen X!

They also randomly pick out a few and offer them an additional a totally unannounced free gift! Say what? That’s correct. They’ll offer three of their weekly daily grand prize winners a free $50 dollar gas card! Say what? So they won a dozen free donuts and they also got a $50 dollar gas card to boot! Yep!

That’s $150 of the $250 dollar (weekly) ad/marketing budget that they get from the appliance dealer, in exchange for jointly sharing those names with the appliance dealer.

Now they take that remaining $100 dollars per week (or X amount) and give away 20-90% discounts on any orders of $10 dollars or more! Now entrepreneur, (solely) in the interest of time! Notice what’s really going on here! Three things:

Focus On Why Someone In Your Target Audience Would Want To Join Your List!

(Not Just On The Actual Mechanics Of Building The Actual List!)

A.) First, notice that the marketing savvy Bakery has not increased their own current daily ad/marketing budget by one thin dime! Not yet anyway!

B.) Next: They reached out to another profit seeking local business owner that they already had an established business relationship with, and simply found a way to monetize an asset they already had!

Which in this particular case is their daily foot traffic! And demonstrated it’s potential value to another non competing business owner and created additional upfront cash revenue out of it!

C.) And third.. and far more importantly, by strategically bribing their current daily foot traffic with these fabulous unannounced  free goodies etc. They’re literally causing an on and offline tidal wave of positive word of mouth buzz! Don’t you agree?

Think about what’s happening at least three times per week! Three guaranteed daily grand prize winners (also) get a free $50 dollar gas card! Do you think they’ll mention that at work, the barber shop or hair salon. Or while their socializing with friends and family members in general! And or tweet or mention it on Facebook etc! Yep!

All the while, their maintaining their paltry $20 dollar a day add/marketing budget! Or whatever the actual daily dollar amount happens to be! And that’s just the bare bones minimum (front end) marketing surface stuff!

But the main point is, hopefully you can see how any serious (marketing) savvy small business owner and or service provider can consistently build a highly responsive mailing list of 1,000 subscribers or more, in just under 90 days or less! Don’t you agree?

So How Would You Build A Really Big Mailing List On Just $20 dollars A Day!

So How Would You Build A Really Big Mailing List On Just $20 dollars A Day!

So “how” many of those “how to” build a really big mailing list free ebooks and or paid courses  or expensive coaching programs do you think you’ve been involved with (say) in just the last three or four years?

That many huh? Yea, let’s face it; building a responsive mailing list is simply one of those evergreen subjects. It never ever goes out of style and there’s always different levels of skill and experience to educate new and emerging online marketers about.

For example, there are those far more experienced and advanced marketers (on and offline BTW), that have various lists that easily total in excess of 50,000 or more. And then there are the far less skilled and experienced beginning marketers that literally have less than 25 total subscribers on their one main opt in list.

So reading a headline about building a really big mailing list (say of) 1,000 subscribers or more in just under under 90 days or less! That still tends to pique a little curiosity (don’t you tend to agree?) Even if you’ve already got more than your fair share of paid and free products on building a highly responsive mailing list.
