1.) Always, no matter how you currently market or promote your business, product or service (on or offline), using powerful free problem solving “how to” lead magnets.

Be sure to capture your potential customers (leads) all important contact information.(Power list building 101.)

If you primarily market your business offline, then you’ll want to use battlefield tested “Direct Response Marketing” in order to accomplish this. Meaning your advertisement or marketing material will offer your readers some type of powerful free insider information product in exchange for their offline mailing address.

(Just for for responding right now!)

And if you primarily market online, you’ll hopefully be driving your first time online visitors to be your lead capture page and or your WordPress blogs home page (index page) that will have an opt in box, (preferably) above the fold and located on your right hand side.

( Which also means that in order to effectively do your all important online follow up process, you are going to need a state of the art paid autoresponder service.)

Note: Recent (and incredibly extensive, not to mention costly) research proves overwhelmingly that your odds of capturing your online visitors contact information (opt in email) increase dramatically (sometimes by as much as 300%) when your optin box is located above the fold and off to the right hand side. ( There are exceptions of course.)

The term above the fold just refers to the part of your screen that your online visitor can view without using the scroll bar.

2.)  It doesn’t matter how long your actual  free lead magnet report and or information product is, don’t write a novel mind you, just be sure that your information product does tell a complete story. Obviously you don’t tell the entire story otherwise you having nothing to sell.

Make Sure That You Seek Out The Valued Opinions Of Your Trusted Associates…After You Create Your Lead Magnet Product…

4.) After you create your valuable free lead generation information product. Ask several of your valued associates to to please answer three specific questions.

A.) Does the information product offer simple, understandable and practical solutions to the problems and or issues that the title (power headline) addresses?

B.) If you had invested your hard earned money in this information product or service, do you feel that you got your money’s worth? If not not why?

C.) What parts specifically ( if any) need to be explained better?

Their (hopefully) honest answers to those three questions and others that the two of you come up with; will allow you to ultimately (over time) create an incredibly powerful and irresistible long term future generating profit magnet.

5.) Never ever try to use a non specific mass medium like your major local newspaper, radio or local cable television ads (not including info-mercials) in order to target market using your new client magnet secret weapon.

The only exception to this general rule is if your using a professionally written press release.

Or you or someone else that has proven money making expertise in those specific mass marketing mediums.

Instead use powerful niche marketing mediums like, industry specific on and offline trade journals and or online ezines (electronic newsletters), trade shows, how to webinars and or workshops etc; in order to target a specific audience.

Mass Media’s Readership Interest Is Way Too General In Order For You To Be Effective And Way Too Costly…

Your rational here is that people who attend specific ‘how to’ workshops and or seminars or trade shows or that subscribe to industry specific newsletters and or trade journals etc. They’re looking for specific ‘how to’ problem solving information.

And far too often mass media publications such as your local newspapers, the general audiences needs are just far too general and varied in nature, in order for your highly “niche d” free lead magnet info product or service to be as effective as it (could) and should be!

( That’s not to suggest that you would turn down the opportunity to have one of your free ‘how to’ lead magnet Direct Response Marketing articles  being published!)

6.) But whatever do you doplease don’t take the time (and put forth) the effort to create any type of  so called free ‘how to’ lead magnet information product that is 85-95% sales hype and no real content!

This (sadly) is a fatal pre profit killing mistake that staggering 95% of your would be clueless competitors constantly make!  Don’t go there!

Instead over time, you’ll be able to (sell big time) by simply taking the time to educate your valued customer and client base (including those on your list) that only want the freebies!

Because you’ll quickly position yourself as one of the respected experts and you’ll also be viewed as an industry leader! ( And boy does it pay!)

Marketing action plan.

Do you have a proven marketing action plan?

As recall  in Part Two of this series, about successfully implementing a workable marketing action plan you discovered that by carefully tracking and monitoring your offline visitors impulse item purchase tendencies.

You discovered which impulse items you could use to systematically create long term profits.

Because remember (when you) allow your best repeat customers to purchase certain items at your actual costs and lock them in for the next 6-12 months etc; you will systematically earn more profits over time and it won’t cost you the traditional fortune to get them to come back each time!

3.) Which specific pages that they visited. (That’s huge!) Because now you know strategically which other pages to add your opt in box to.

Otherwise your potential prospect will ignore it. And you will have wasted your time and money trying to reach them in the first place.

In conclusion: Hopefully now you can see and appreciate how knowing the two most important secrets about your ideal online visitor can and will fill up your bank account.
