This Is Why Professionally Building Your Network Makes Sense!

When you put a pencil to it in terms of “what” you’re actually investing per hour. In order to take your pick. Do your own version of on or off page SEO (Search Engine Optimization.) Or “how” much effort is involved in terms of constantly building your own social media following and presence.

If you’re own Instagram or Linkedin or whatever. And you’re posting consistently or occasionally boosting your post. Or you’re running your own podcast or consistently guest podcasting. As well as publishing new content consistently.

Or perhaps (like me) you’ve got a fairly active self hosted WordPress blog. Whatever you’re doing ladies and gentlemen. It’s still more than worth it for you and I to be systematically building your network of potential JV (Joint Venture) or strategic partnerships.

As well as some reliable cross promotional partners of all kinds. Don’t you agree?

It’s The Compound Effect Of The Compound Effect Which Puts You Or Your Major Competitors Light Years Ahead!

Here’s ‘what” I mean. As some of you know. I was recently of the “smartagents” podcast hosted by Michael Walter.

Here’s “why” I’m sharing this with you. During the recording. Michael freely shared each episode (after it gets ) professionally edited of course. It of course gets published all over social media. Plus the link also gets sent to their 150,000 opt in subscribers.

(Entrepreneur do all of your current opt in email subscriber lists combined total anywhere near 150,000? No worries because neither do mine. Here’s the point.

Do you wanna continue to wait until you have either a single opt in list or a combined one of anywhere near that number? Me neither. So hopefully you can appreciate “why” it definitely makes sense for you and I to be constantly building your network.

Some Type Of Ongoing Power Networking Is Definitely The Springboard To Additional Marketing Exposure!

Just depending on when you’re actually reading this particular post. Some of you already know I’m scheduled to be a guest on former original cast member “Kevin Harrington” of ABC’s runaway hit series “Shark Tank.”

He and best selling author “Seth Greene” now have their own mega hit podcast called “Sharkpreneur.” And this July 5th 2022. Yours truly is scheduled to appear on it.

(Now in full disclosure. Ladies & gentlemen as far as I know. It will only be Seth and myself on this particular episode. )

But “what” I’m far more interested in, is “how” downloads each episode averages. And I already their show is featured on every major podcast distributor on the planet.

So I’m definitely looking (going forward!) to be able to say and print “as recently seen on Kevin Harrington and Seth Greene’s “Sharkpreneur” podcast.

Talk about being able to strategically leverage a world recognized brand for literally pennies on the dollar.

You And I Can Literally Waste An Entire Lifetime Trying To Build Our Own Audience And Influence Anywhere Near The Size And  Overall Reach Of The Major Players Currently Walking The Planet!

Or we can get strategic and start leveraging (as often as you/we can!) the major influencer-s among us. Let their reach and influence do the heavy lifting for us. Here’s a rather eye opening stat for you to chew on.

According to Kevin Harrington himself. During an interview he did with mega personality Ed Mylett. Even while Kevin was an original cast member of “Shark Tank.” (He left just as season two. It’s now going on season 13.

On average about 50,000 hopefuls apply to be on the show. But here’s the scary part. Only about 300 are actually selected. You do the math and this means only six tenths of one percent actually get invited on the show. For whatever reasons.

And by comparison. Only two percent of the best of the best “A” students in America. Who apply to go to Harvard actually get accepted. So statistically speaking.

The best of the best in America. Has a better chance of being accepted into Harvard. Than the typical applicant has of being accepted on “Shark Tank.” I’m not sure what the actual numbers are for being accepted on “Sharkpreneur.” But I’ll bet the odds of an unknown such as myself aren’t very good. Would you not agree?

So going forward entrepreneur. Are you now of the mindset. It’s definitely worth the effort to be systematically building your network? I sincerely hope so.

So What If It Really Is About The Company You Keep!

Have you heard the saying. “You/we are the company you keep?” This is not only true in life in general. But in business as particular as well. Usually you and I are in some ways the sum of our five or X number of closest friends, associates and or acquaintances.

Which means it really is about (to some degree or another!) the company you keep. Or routinely will be keeping 80% of the time or more. You and I are influenced to some degree or another by our closest associates o friends, relatives etc.

If they tend to invest 20-30 hours week on social media. Endlessly browsing and occasionally getting into cyber arguments with some other person. Over “whatever” is the subject of the hour or day. that’s 20-30 hours per week you can’t ever get back. And trying to live vicariously through others.

By Now The Power Of Networking Should Be Or Is Becoming Pretty Obvious!

Entrepreneur for just a moment. This about the potential money making possibilities simply from referring a product or service to friend, neighbor, co-worker, respected colleague or family member.

The vendor potentially generates a new first time customer or client. Who may potentially go on to. Purchase again and again. Purchase more often. Periodically make even larger purchases. Provide bank account filing testimonials and utilize positive word of mouth or mouse buzz. All for literally pennies on the dollar, correct?

Why You Should Definitely Stop Under Valuing The Hidden Assets In Your Business Or Service!

If for whatever reasons you currently find yourself in the position of not currently having all of the relatively lost cost financing you need. (Or think you need.)

Maybe it’s time you started developing or monetizing some of your hidden assets or resources. Say what? Entrepreneur believe it or not. With the right marketing perspective and some strategic and consistent elbow grease.

Given time and constantly forming the right type of low hanging fruit strategic alliances. And nurturing through various levels of relationship capital. You can and definitely should slowly convert at least some of your previously hidden assets or resources into mini profit centers of some kind.

At Least Test Like This If It’s About Costly Rising Advertising Costs!

It’s no secret ad rates on practically all of the major social media platforms are steadily going up, correct? and the lethal combination of steadily rising PPC (Pay Per Click) ad rates and consistently diminishing overall  sales conversion rates.

This combination is causing a staggering amount aspiring entrepreneurs to be caught in the temporary or permanent vice grip of diminishing cash flow.

And “if” you’ve haven’t been there. hold on my profit seeking friend. Because it’ not if you’re gonna experience it. (Possibly more than once as your entrepreneurial journey continues to unfold.) It’s more like when and to “what” degree.
