Take a look at this. First (the study revealed) that on average more than 50% of college students at a four year schools, and more than 75% at two schools in the United States: Could not!

A.) Understand the arguments of a newspaper editorial.

B.) Or interpret a table about exercise and blood pressure.

C.) And finally… adequately compare credit card offers with different interest rates and annual fees. (Your not to the bad part yet!)

Here’s the really sad part; these students are more literate (by far) than the average US adult! Because the vast majority of US adults have far less education.

So the moral of the story is? Keep it simple, be specific as you can and always seek simplicity first!

Because as Brain (likes) to pint out, when it comes to creating effective content (on or ) offline. “No one will ever complain that your writing is too easy to understand.”

How To Create Content That Sets You Apart……

(From Your Lost In The Sauce Major Competitors! Introducing Five Simple Copy Writing Mistakes To Avoid!)

1.) Copy writing mistake # one: The typical small business owner and or service provider, far too often will create  content that belongs in play from William Shakespeare!

Instead of writing to a crowd that (not) only did not attend a prestigious Ivy league school, but really (for all practical purposes), could care less about you, your product or service!

They simply need and want to know in Mary Jane plain simple terms, how whatever you have benefits them! And you’d better cut to the chase, real fast!

Or else, their gone! Especially  online. Remember, keep your writing simple, concise and to the point. And don’t write like you attended Harvard!

2.) Copy writing mistake # two: Use lots of bullet points in your copy. Creating lists are extremely effective. Besides your target audience loves to know (or discover!) X number of ways to do something.

Or, they love top X number of something lists. So copy write mistake number two is, failing to use concise bullet points in your on or offline copy.

And stimulate the natural curiosity of your readers.

3.) Copy writing mistake # three: Since you already know that a compelling (main) power headline, will affect 80% of your written materials success or failure.

And if you don’t capture them in just five short seconds or less (with) your best market tested compelling headline (on or) offline.

That they won’t stick around to read the main body of your material. That being said, as the they quickly skim your copy, (that’s) why you need really good (straight) to the point bullets!

They will also head directly to your all important P>S. at the end of your sales piece. So don’t drop the ball here! If your sales piece, doesn’t have any P.s’s, then you’d better start using them yesterday!

But even if you do routinely use them, make some last (“what’s in it for me?”) compelling point in your P.S! don’t just add it for the sake of doing so! like far too many of your wannabe competitors!

4.) Copy writing mistake # four: Failing to spend 80% or more of your time, trying to create compelling opening main power headlines, in order to attract your target audience initially.

The body of your sales piece, article or blog post etc; has got to deliver on your main power headlines big promise, alright!

But without (inexpensively) testing various main power headlines, in order to attract them initially, you’ll never get to them reading anything.

So spend at least 80% or more of your time (entrepreneur) learning how to create compelling main power headlines!

5.) Copy writing mistake # five: And finally… This one is critical. Your not investing enough time immersing yourself in your craft! Huh?

Okay, without a doubt, you can’t mention successful online marketing without segmenting into effective email strategies, correct?

In fact, even if your just starting out and you have no product and or service, you can and should still be using low cost (high powered) email marketing strategies, in order to increase your (on and) offline profits. How you ask skeptically?

Your kidding right? Seriously, just by you effectively using a quality paid email marketing system like (either) aweber, constant contact, infusion soft, get response or icontact etc.

You can instantly and systematically keep your valued opt in subscribers in the loop (both) on and offline, about different events, private grand openings, VIP online webinars, tele conferences etc.

In fact; the main purpose of your initial online email marketing strategy (in the beginning) anyway is to simply inform your subscribers about offline local events that your joint venture partners are hosting.

And the list goes on & on.

 How To Strategically Combine The Service Angle And Your Email Marketing Strategies To Hit It Out Of The Park!

If you don’t currently have any particular product or service yet, think about ‘how’ you can strategically use your email marketing strategies (simply) to be of service (in a big way) to your valued opt in subscrib For ex; suppose you are a rather small (but) fairly successful offline retailer. And you currently employ eight people. Five full timers and three part timers.

Of course you’ll be periodically emailing your subscribers whenever you get new inventory or your holding some (can’t miss) blow out sale, and the price mark downs are simply not be believed etc.

Or whenever you need to survey them for their all important feedback or to announce your grand opening of a brand new second location etc.

This next rarely used (little known) super underground (ninja) marketing strategy, allows you to go deep under cover and (simply) out promote your big buck major competitors for (literally) pennies on the dollar!

1.) Strategy # one: This first rarely revealed (under utilized) marketing strategy will help to build permanent long term trust with your subscribers for peanuts!

Suppose you start diligently networking (aka) joint venturing with other small to mid sized offline (local) small business owners and or service providers, and you all agree to inform each other (so that) in turn each of you that’s participating can inform your subscribers.

About any non competing business and or service provider that is doing one of two things.

A.) Holding a “Everything must go” going out of business liquidation sale! Your subscribers will  love to be on the A list for that one service alone!

 B.) Their announcing a second location “Grand opening sale!”

And everyone that has this special VIP X % off discount coupon gets 20% off any purchase, plus an extra 10% off for each person they bring with them to the grand opening, (over 18) that’s not currently a customer.

Maximum of two new people. Think about this powerful strategy for a moment. Suppose there are twenty local small business owners (currently) participating in this massive cross promotion.

If each participant has just 1,000 total on and offline subscribers on their respective lists. Which means any time they email their list, a grand total of 20,000 opt in subscribers will receive their email announcement about some upcoming local event.

If just 2% of the subscribers decide to participate, that means an additional 400 customers show up. (20,000 x .02% = 400.)

And if 40% of those 400 bring at least two additional people with them, that equals an additional 160 people! (400 x .40% = 160.)

Just because their on your list and you’re savvy enough to use a quality paid email marketing service.

2.) You can always add a huge display inside your retail outlet (and or) add your best market tested  lead capture page style business card inside every purchasers bag.

And invite them to join your list in order to receive $1,000 dollar worth of super “new customer only” discount coupons from various other offline local JV partners that are currently participating in your massive cross promotion venture.

 Simple Email Strategies That Flat Out Work!

3.) You could offer a free drawing, where once (each month or once every quarter) you offer two guaranteed grand first prize winners.

The chance to win one free 30 minute one on one power consulting session (either) once per week one free 60 minute session per month. And all they need to do is join your list!

Of course you can always simply be a affiliate sales rep that lead generates for another expert (of some kind) that currently offers one on one power consultations of some kind.

And merely receive a certain percentage (like) 25% of any paid hourly consultation fees or an ongoing paid monthly residual amount of 15% for any individual that upgrade and sign up for a 12 month monthly maintenance program of $200 dollars per month.

So at just 20% per month, you’d still receive $60 per month as long as the client remained in the program. Just ten clients that you bring them that remain active for 12  months equals $600 per month in ongoing residual income for you!

4.) They could also opt in on a special lead capture page on your paid self hosted blog (which) is hopefully a WordPress blog.

You could also record all 12 or 48 (one per week) sessions. And do one of two things with them.

A.) Use them as a powerful free risk reversal bonus whenever anyone purchases a more expensive product of yours and or one of your top JV partners.

B.) You could discount the perceived retail value by a whopping 70% to anyone that joins your list and or gives you a bank account filling testimonial!

Or you could sell the resell rights to someone and pocket thousands off a retail product you just discounted by an incredible 70%!

Re- read that last one, because it’s one of those little known rarely revealed marketing strategies that the six, seven & eight figure earners use to make thousands of dollars every year in passive income!

In other words (let’s say) they currently charge $500 dollars per hour to consultant with their customers and clients. Which means 12 monthly one hour sessions (typically) would cost $6,000 dollars. ($500 PH x 12 monthly sessions = $6,000 dollars.

Now they record each sessions (have it transcribed) and add five to six incredibly popular bonuses valued at X, that they get to keep even if they decide to ask for a refund of the recorded sessions.

They discount the recordings by at least 70% off the normal retail price, which means everyone pays just $1,800 dollars!

Then they turn around and sell a mater license to the recordings for $10k each! Which means every person that pays ten grand, not only gets to keep 1oo % of the $1,800 purchase price, but they also get to pocket 100% of the $2,500 dollar license fee that they sell to others!
