Remember when you were a kid and some older adult or parent that you totally admired & respected would advise you about doing something (or not) doing something, that they themselves weren’t actually doing? Well, have you noticed “how” certain marketers can really get on their proverbial high horse about “how” it no longer makes economic sense for you to have an active email campaignof any kind!
And yet, “how” did you receive the message from them? (Email!) Bingo! In fact, a while back a rather well known online marketer sent out an email, about (what else?) video marketing, proclaiming “how” email marketing itself was dead! Yea right!
Hey, not to be misunderstood here. Without a doubt, email open rates overall, have taken a dramatic turn for the worse!(But not for everybody!) And fewer of them -unfortunately- get open & even the ones that do, the overall click through rates (CTR) are way down as well! All true. And part of the reason they have been so successful over the years, is because they’ve dedicated literally years of their life to meticulously developing one highly sought after skill in particular, that which of course is copy writing training and development.

1.) Rock solid reason # one: Ladies & gentlemen, anytime you can lay down the words (copy write) on or offline and get a certain percentage of the eyes reading it to take the desired action that you want! My friend, you have an extremely valuable and much sought after marketable skill!
2.) Rock solid reason # two: Entrepreneur this is the type “much sought after” evergreen skill that you barter with practically any company of any size! For ex: your local dentist or high powered law firm probably wouldn’t have a problem with exchanging (bartering) some of their high priced services for some of your proven copy writing/marketing skills!
Especially if they’re just starting out and they’ve haven’t exactly become a household name yet!
3.) Rock solid reason # three: Just think of the incredible “marketing leverage” you can get simply by doing a re-write of past post cards, sales letters, display & classified ads and your online sales letters etc.
The possibilities are fairly large and potentially lucrative. Don’t you agree?
