Five Really Cool Advantages Of Using A Blog!Part Two
As you (hopefully) previously discovered in part one this series about the advantages of using a blog, as you discovered, one of (and probably) your biggest advantages that you have is, you have ultimate control!
Mind you, that is (provided) that your wise enough to get a state of the art (self hosted) WordPress blog!
(And the term “self hosted”) simply refers to the fact, that you (or somebody) is actually paying to host your WordPress blog on a paid hosting service and you’re not using a free blogging platform like blogger, Live journal or WordPress.com.(Because without warning they might just pull the plug and shut down your site! It’s happened before!)
One Of The Absolute Coolest Advantages Of Using A Blog!
Here’s a quick question for you; have you ever tried to publish forty two (you read that correct!) , forty two articles in one day! Do you know the name Michelle Shaeffer?
If not, you should, because Michelle (of MichelleShaeffer.com fame) is simply one of the top WordPress blogging experts in the world! And she recently shared in one of her posts on her WordPress blog how she actually published forty two separate posts (articles) in one twenty four hour period! Try that little challenge some time.
Anyway, here’s the real point; do you really think you could submit forty two separate pieces of content to forty two different (or even the same) major article directories, and have them all approved in just one day?
Try it and and see. And here’s the other thing. Have you ever taking the time (and effort) to create a multi part article series? Some of the major article directories (for whatever reasons) frown on this sort of content creation! What’s up with that?
And so what if your part two of the article series is only two hundred and thirty eight words! As long as you’re providing real value to your niche, who cares? right? Wrong!
A major article directory once declined one of my articles, because one of the staff (translated), hourly employees decided the content was too hype y!
And yet, that same concept (not the same article!) was published by another major article directory! And to this day has received well over 1,700 world wide syndication’s!
The point is (entrepreneur), when your publishing to your own self hosted WordPress blog, you don’t have to be bothered or concerned with that type of nonsense!
Some More Really Cool Advantages Of Using A Blog!
Have you ever had one of those days? You know, you’re just not totally up to it? But still may be you wanna post a little something something to your blog. And communicate (connect) in some way with your valued audience! But may be you’ve only got a hundred and eighty seven words inside of you that day!
Try and post a one hundred and eighty seven word article (or less!) in one of the major article directories! Especially when you’re just starting out! My friend, when you’re the editor and chief, you can post as often as like! And nobody controls how much or how little content you can provide!
Here’s another really big sticking point! Some of the major article submissions directories, prohibit or limit the number of affiliate links you can include in the body of your posts!
Huh? Yep! So it’s a no – no for you to monetize your original content? Forget about it! When you become your own editor and chief!
There are no editors and assistant editors to answer to ever! No hourly employees (with very little if any) real world marketing (and or business) experience, making the final decisions either! As it should be!
You’re in complete control. And that’s simply one of the coolest advantages to using a blog! As previously noted! Just be sure it’s a state of the art (self hosted) WordPress blog and you’re good to go! And blog on!
