Entrepreneur, do you have a favorite online place to shop? What about your spouse, and or significant other or kids? Any reason why they love to shop and or brag about this particular online spot? Think any type of proven creative marketing ideas and or strategies that particular company is currently implementing, has something to do with it?
You can bet it does. But for the sake of argument and so you can sort of do a side by side comparison. Let’s take a look at three more rather simple marketing strategies, that can and will improve your companies bottom line. When it comes to effective marketing strategies or tactics or whatever you choose to call them, one things for sure, you’d better have something of value in your customers or clients eyes.
And no it doesn’t have to be some never been done before type of major breakthrough. But your strategies and or tactics have to offer some type of persuasive benefits to your end users.
Sometimes Creative Marketing Ideas Open Up A Lot Of Long Term Possibilities!
In part two of this ongoing series, first let’s take a more broad look at some really creative marketing ideas and concepts, then in part three, you’ll discover three more really simple, yet oh so powerful creative marketing ideas, okay?
Alright the. For this first broad based example, let’s take a rather savvy local major Real Estate developer. And let’s say he or she has this major residential development with twenty five major upscale homes currently for sale, that range in value from a half a million to $2.5 million dollars.
Which means, these potential home buyers are definitely people of means! Ah yes, the well off (aka) the rich.
Watch how this extremely savvy developer uses marketing triangulation, to basically accomplish three major things!
1.) Create more value for their customers.
2.) Profitably network with other local entrepreneurs and help inexpensively and creatively grow each others networks and increase their profits as well.
3.) Create some serious long term word of mouse and mouth via social media and create some real world, bank account filling publicity to boot!
First, both the developer and his son, son in law and (at least) two of his major partners in the firm are extremely avid golf enthusiasts! They love to get in a round of 18 holes when and everywhere they can!
And three of the people in their inner circle just happens to be one of the most successful big time upscale restaurant owners and an extremely successful appliance retailer. And a very successful local jeweler Now then, watch this marketing razzle dazzle.
Isn’t Time You Unleash Your Creative Marketing Mind?
Can you see a viable way the four of these profit driven enterprises can work together and all come out better, than before they started strategically networking? Here’s a way (as always) for marketing illustrative purposes only.
First, the developer approaches their appliance retailer inner circle member about purchasing at least thirty one 72 inch state of the art flat screen TV’s. You know the one’s that currently retail for $1,400 dollars and some change!
But the developer wants to buy them all 31 at the retailers actual cost of just $500 dollars each! Say what? Yep. The developer wants to spend $15,500 dollars )$500 x 31 flat screen TV’s at $1,400 dollars each = $15,500.)
And here’s phase one, the developers Realtor and or broker, will place one of these TV’s in every home they currently have for sale. And each prospective buyer will be made aware that they’ll get the TV as a special house warming gift!
That accounts for the first twenty five TV’s. What to do with the remaining six 72 inch TV’s? Here’s what. First the developer approaches the local golf instructor at the country club. Huh?Hang in there, it will all make sense in just a second.
The developer offers the golfer one of those $1,400 dollar flat screens in exchange for hourly credit towards private lessons at a mere one hundred twenty five dollars per hour.
Which equals eleven hours of credit. ($1,400/$125 = 11.2 hours.) In part three, you’ll discover “the rest of the story” as they say. For now, does this type of marketing triangulation spark your creative marketing mindset? Hopefully it does. Until part three, any questions?
