And go to “view source” and research what specific targeted, (especially long tail) keywords and long tail keyword phrases, they’re either attempting to, (and or) are currently ranking on Google (and the other major) search engines, first or second page.
2.) After you’ve had a chance to research (at least) your top five major competitors WordPress blogs, following the exact same process.

Head over to youtube, and type some of those specific keywords into youtube. And find at least ten videos that generate the most traffic for those exact same terms, and leave a positive, meaningful comment on each one!

3.) Take those same keywords you researched from your top five major competitors blog, and create alternative “how to” problem solving content with it.
Meaning- if they created a blog post, you (either) create a youtube video, (or video series), with it or create a podcast or pod casts with it, to drive highly targeted “keyword researched traffic, back to your blog and or website etc.

4.) How many times have you gone to the grocery store and come back with things, you didn’t originally intend on buying, yet forgot to purchase some really important things, you were suppose to buy? Bingo!
The point being: Entrepreneur! You need (at all times!) A checklist (or goals) if you prefer. But you need something in writing in front of you at all times, in order to accurately assess your progress, and to keep you accountable and on the straight and narrow!
And a daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly checklist of some kind, is definitely a proven solution!

5.) And last but certainly not least! You’ve got to know what your strengths and weaknesses are.
