Case in point. Let’s say your company sells both premium beer and after dinner wines. And because you’ve taken the time to run your numbers. And you have a realistic idea of what your ideal customers, total lifetime customer value metrics.
So you could ethically bribe/reward your best high end customers. By finding out if they enjoy great tasting barbecue.
And if so, they could send those choice customers X number of pounds of barbecue ribs and beef etc.
And of course at least one case of mid level premium beer too. So they will need to invite some quests. To help them enjoy themselves, right? 😀

They could also ethically bribe their best customers. By inexpensively testing running a contest.
And reward the person or couple who has the most new customer discount coupons redeemed. (Within a set time period.) And the top performing customer(s) automatically qualify for some really cool ethical bribes.
Like three or X number of cases of mid level premium beer. Or one or X number of bottles of mid level after dinner wines. Or for any couples birthdays.
They get their choice. Either one mid level bottle of after dinner wine. Or one mid level case of premium beer. And as long they remain an active opt in email subscriber for at least one year. Or X number of months.
Get And Remain Creative With Your Various Non Traditional Marketing Strategies And Tactics!

Both can buy any one bottle or case of premium beer or after dinner wine. At your actual hard cost. What you or your major competitors are banking on here. Is positive, long term residual word of mouth and mouse promotional exposure.
