When you really stop to think about it. Why literally start from scratch? Trying to convince a totally cold audience. To pay attention to you.
When you can get in front of your ideal audience. For a fraction of the tradition costs. Simply by utilizing trade shows.
Because those audiences are already established. Are they not? Think about the enormous front end investment. Which has already been made. Literally hundreds of thousands of dollars. Or millions of dollars have already been invested. Laying and nurturing the relationships with the target audience, correct?

And you and or your major competitors may not have to invest anywhere near the amounts other vendors have.

Has the opportunity to recoup any of their potentially large front end investment. Especially if recouping part of their initial front end investment.
Has little or nothing to do with how much business they actually do at a trade show. Say what?

So imagine what can potentially happen. When you and or your major competitors.
Offer to buy one of their most popular. Mid level priced products at their actual hard cost. Say what? 😀 And offer it as a free drawing to the attendees of a top industry trade show.
This way your JV partner can build a highly responsive opt in email subscriber base, correct?
It Definitely Makes For More Economic Sense To Promote To A Warm Market! (Instead Of An Ice Cold One!)
Imagine the scene. A top industry trade show. Will have anywhere from 35,000 – 50,000 attendees over a three day period. And your non directly competing JV partners.
Will be offering various types of free drawings at their particular booths. And on the long term back end of their sales funnel. You or your major competitors will offer your awesome products or services.
And pay them a JV commission percentage of X. Just depending on what the initial front cost you’re charging for your product or service.
But whatever the actual percentage is. They use it to help offset the front end cost they initially invested in their state of the art booth. How often do you think that happens? 😀
