(But Not Necessarily Smarter!)
This past year did you by chance start either your own podcast or your own self hosted blog? If you did. First of all major congrats for at least attempting to go for your dreams. Most will only talk/dream about doing so.
At least you and I finally or eventually got off the coach. And put some things in motion. But now the $64,000 dollar burning question becomes. Why are you so darn content with constantly working harder.? But not necessarily working smarter.
At least some on you know. On average I tend to publish fresh new, “how to” based content at least six days a week. Every now and again I’m content to only publish five days a week.
What’s your current publishing frequency look like and why?
This Is How And Why Working Smarter Can Easily Five Or Ten X Your Long Term Results! (For Literally Pennies On The Dollar!)
The bottom line to it all cadets. Whether you’re just initially starting out. Or you’re already an established seasoned pro. Either way. You and I need to be constantly generating some type of potential bank account filling marketing leverage.
Which means either guest podcasting, guest blogging. Or appearing on other highly influential personalities radio or TV shows etc.
Personally I’ve yet to be invited. Nor have I approached any major influencers about being a guest on either their popular radio or TV shows.
But who knows. Things could ultimately change in the not so distant future, correct? The reason I mention this is this. Trying to build momentum with your self hosted blog or podcast.
It’s definitely a ton of continuous work/effort. Those of you who are still in the trenches. Would you not agree with that statement?
The Name Of The Game Is Systematically Building Momentum! (Without Going Broke Or Burning Out During The Process!)
As some of you already know. Todd & Leah Getts already have an outrageously popular podcast they just launched a while ago. And they’re already approaching 200,000 subscribers.
How long do you think it takes your average podcaster to reach anywhere near those types of numbers? Sadly most never will. No matter how hard they work.
Just like most bloggers will never achieve 200,000 unique visitors per month. I can assure you my current blogging numbers are nowhere near those type of figures! 😀 (In the mean time I’ll keep chugging along! How about you? 😀 )
Although as a direct result of my recent guest podcast appearances. My Domain Authority (DA) ranking received a slight upward bump. Not much. But every little bit helps, right?
Why Keep Fighting The Proven Trends?
According to some recent articles on Google. Podcasting is still outrageously popular. And it’s expected to keep growing in popularity. This being the case. By extension guest podcasting on relevant shows.
Is proven way to? Take your pick. (A.) Establish your credibility and demonstrate your proven expertise. (B) Strategically build your very own opt in email list. By offering the listeners/subscribers one of your best, market tested free lead magnet giveaways.
(C.) You can power network with the podcast owner(s.) Because they may just invite you to either be a guest speaker at one of their up and coming on or offline high level events.
Or they may Joint Venture (JV) with you. By allowing you to create some type of problem solving digital product. Or offer a service to their paid membership customers.
