Clearly in practically any city or rural area. (In America anyway.) There are at least a few mom and pop landscapers, correct? Sadly the vast majority of them are not very marketing/promotional savvy, right?
So what little (if any!) Traditional ad campaigns they run. They typically have little or no idea “how to” strategically increase the ad or promotions effectiveness.
In part two of this ongoing series. You and or your major competitors. Are about to discover even more potentially profitable, innovative marketing strategies and tactics. Are you up for that?
So If You Were To Suddenly Discover Some Previously Hidden Profit Centers Ladies And Gentlemen! (What Percentage Of The Front Or Long Term Back End Would You Be Willing To Profit Share?)
Quickly picking up where part one previously left off. Again strictly for hypothetical marketing illustration purposes only. Let’s say you’re the professional landscaper featured in the image above.
And you’re a mom and pop, non franchised service provider. But no matter how you’ve invested thus far in order to generate your current customer base.
Regardless of how long they’ve been a paying customer. There is still an initial or ongoing cost to originate them, right? So “how” would you or your major competitors go about recouping at least part or nearly all of your front end customer acquisition costs?
And the room suddenly goes silent again! 😀 So do you really think your typical extremely hard working mom and pop entrepreneur. Including non franchised service providers.
Would or will have a problem. With you or your major competitor retail store owner(s.) Showing them how to not only systematically recoup or eliminate altogether.
Some or all of their front end customer acquisition costs. 😀 (Would you? Me neither!)
Any Time You Possibly Can Show Other Non Directly Competing Vendors The Short And Long Term Advantages Of Forming Strategic Joint Ventures With You! (Or Your Major Competitors Definitely Will!)
Again strictly for hypothetical marketing illustration purposes only. Suppose an extremely marketing savvy, non franchised retail appliance dealer or non franchised retail furniture store owner.
At least strategically tested the following, extremely low hanging fruit lead generating/opt in email generating strategy. Since the extremely marketing savvy retailer(s) already have a pretty good idea.
What their ideal customers total lifetime customer value metrics are. So imagine if the retailers at least tested this particular strategy.
They tell the extremely hard working landscaper. To pick out at least three of the areas most expensive residential areas. And test the following strategy.
Which in reality. The retailers will fund. They will place one of their best market tested, extremely time sensitive single or double sided offers. In at least ten of the most expensive residential houses on any given block.
The offer will be two or X free full blown landscaping jobs! Simply on a trial basis of course! Say what? 😀 And only if the potential first time customer likes the results.
Ladies And Gentlemen It’s Definitely Okay To Get Creative With Your Current And Future Lead Generation Efforts!
They can then decide to start paying the landscapers current retail rates of X. In reality the extremely marketing savvy retailers. Will be behind the scenes paying the landscapers actual hard cost. 😀
Which more than likely! Will still equal a whole lot less per lead. Than what the non franchised retailer would typical pay. For one of those outrageously expensive, dismally performing. Traditional ad campaigns, agreed? 😀
Before putting this one to bed. Entrepreneur, based strictly on “what” you’ve read between these two segments alone. Can you potentially see a creative way of combining a high end local, no franchised realtors brand new upscale home owners clientele. Into a strategy such as was just covered.
If so major congrats. You’re definitely starting to get a true feel for the potentially profitable. Innovative marketing strategies and tactics.
Which routinely increase other extremely savvy entrepreneurs bank accounts. Don’t you agree?
