Hopefully you read part one of this ongoing series. Even though this is part two of the installment. It will come at this proven strategy from an entirely different marketing angle. In part three it will all be tied together.
So your overall understanding of this particular marketing strategy will go much deeper. And strictly
Who Says You Can’t Systematically Create Your Own Income Streams?
As you recall in part one. You or your major local competitors. Who also owned non franchised retail jewelry or non franchised retail appliance centers. Decided to try and form some potentially successful Joint Venture (JV) arrangements. With at least a few local, independently owned winery business distributors.
And because you or your major competitors already have a pretty accurate idea what your ideal customers total lifetime customer value metrics.
Give or take over the next five to seven year period. You know what you can or can’t realistically afford to invest. In order to consistently generate all important first time customers/clients.
This being the case. The 1st ten or X number of customers of the winery per week or month. Who purchased at least one extremely high end bottle of wine or champagne.
They automatically get a sealed envelop. Which reads on the outside. In big, bold red letters. “You Definitely Deserve This!” So absolutely no worries about the vast majority of them ripping it open in a matter of nano seconds, correct? 😀
Do You Have A Problem With Utilizing Non Traditional Marketing Strategies To Create Some Potentially Profitable Brand Awareness?
When they do. Initially they will find at least two market tested, extremely time sensitive offers inside the envelop. (And who knows. May be over time. Other non directly competing local vendors. Who are also extremely marketing savvy will also gladly pay/invest.
A.) To insert one of their best, extremely time sensitive, market tested offers inside the envelop as well.
B.) Or add their insert. And gladly JV revenue share anywhere from 10- 50 or X% of their gross front end profits with the sponsoring retailer.
And the retail jeweler could insert either a one or two sided, market tested offer. Side “A” will invite the recipients to enter the retailers monthly or quarterly free drawing. (They do so simply by joining the retailers opt in email list.)
Side “B” will ethically bribe the recipients to come to the retailers store/showroom. On or before the hand written ten or X day expiration date expiries completely worthless.
Wanna Systematically Take Things To The Very Next Level Or Two?
They come alone. And they save a mere 10% off any purchase. However, simply for dragging a friend whose at least 18 with them. Before they leave the store that day. They can save a maximum of 40 or X% off their purchases.
And as long as their guest also joins the retailers opt in email list before they leave the store that same day. They automatically save a maximum of 30 or X% off. (With absolutely no minimum purchase requirements.)
Plus the retail jeweler will also allow the owner(s) who are men. To be able to purchase a really nice men’s watch of their choice. 😀 Which typically retails for at least $5,000 dollars. (And your actual hard cost is either 50 or 60%.)
And if the ladies happen to either own the winery or are married to. Or living with the owner. They also get to purchase one women’s really nice watch. For the exact same terms.
This way as both the men & women are periodically mingling with both their professional and personal inner circles. Either their extremely eye catching diamond studded necklaces, fancy watches, diamond studded earrings or really cool bracelets etc.
Are constantly doing a ton of long term, positive word of mouth or mouse promoting for them. 😀 Don’t you agree?
