When you think about beer and pizza what immediately comes to mind? (Wait before you give your answer.) Think about some outrageously popular premium beer and pizza which rates among the best in your immediate area.
More than likely there are at least a few, correct? And think about the providers of such products. They would probably be extremely open to other locals vendors helping them expose their premium beer to.
Especially if the could so for literally pennies on the dollar. Would a potentially profitable proposition like that interest you as well?
In The Beginning Basic Marketing Techniques Is Pretty Much All You Need To Move Off Center In A Major Way!
Strictly for hypothetical marketing illustration purposes only. Let’s say you own a local, non franchised landscaping business. Who can say for sure.
But more than likely at least some of your current or future customers are probably premium beer drinkers. And love occasionally chowing down on some great tasting pizza, correct? 😀
So imagine the following. Your current or future high end residential or high end commercial landscaping customers. You at least inexpensively test offering them the following offer on an extremely time sensitive basis.
The premium beer distributor could form a mutually beneficial Joint Venture (JV) arrangement of some kind with at least a few local, non directly competing vendors. (Like your independently owned landscaping business owner.)
And simply have the landscaper to pass out some of their best market tested, extremely time sensitive discount coupons to their upscale residential and commercial customers.
As long as they join the distributors opt in email list. And drag a friend with them to the distributors local store. For an extremely limited time they get purchase two 24 or X number of cases. And save 40 0r X% off their total purchase. 😀
And as long as their customers guests also joins the distributors list before they leave the store that day. They too can save x% off their purchase. As long as they purchase that day before leaving you or your major competitors store.
Systematically Improve Your Advertising Or Promotional Strategies! (And You Can Proactively Take Back Your Time!)
Let’s your landscaping business currently has at least five upscale customers and three commercial building clients. Those owners of both types of probably love to occasionally drink premium beer and eat great tasting gourmet pizza, right? So an extremely marketing savvy premium beer distributor could arrange for them to get some.
And at advantageous discount simply for providing your service with a great review on their social media channel. They help spread the word about you or your major competitors landscaping business.
And in return they can save X% off a 12 case of your premium beer. Simply for dragging a friend with them to you or your major competitors store. Whose at least 18.
And when they drag their semi qualified friend. As long as both of them join you or your major competitors opt in email list before they leave the store that day.
It’s Definitely Okay To Leverage Various Types Of Premiums And Or Bonuses!
They will receive three or X number of large gourmet pizzas from an upscale local vendor. Along with a 12 case of premium beer for just X. (Meaning some super low price. Or at both the premium beer distributor and the gourmet pizzeria owner(s) actual hard cost.)
And if the Super Bowl hasn’t been played yet. They can get it delivered that day. Which gives them even more reasons to invite a few other locals, right? 😀
My friend are you starting to better appreciate the long term marketing possibilities. Simply by leveraging the positive word of mouth and mouse from premium beer and pizza? Especially if the pizza is of the gourmet variety.
