Entrepreneur before we dive head long in to part two of this ongoing series. About “why” now is definitely the ideal time to at least start your digital marketing campaign.
I want to draw your attention to a rather interesting stat. (Which I’m sure will have definitely changed. Meaning it will have gone up. By the time you get a chance to check it.)
Notice the blue arrow pointing to the number of views in the feature image. It’s a screenshot from the YouTube video from the “Winning On Mainstreet” podcast.
Twenty two views in just one day of being published. I currently have several guest podcast appearance videos on YouTube. That are 3-4 years old. Which barely have that many or just above that many total views thus far.
So this won looks pretty darn promising, does it not?
So What Do You Have Currently Masquerading As Legitimate Income Producing Activities These Days?
Obviously you and I have no control over “how” many total views any particular guest podcasting appearance or guest blogging post will ultimately receive, correct?
But the more they see you and I promoting our guest podcasting or guest blogging opportunities. The more likely you and I will be invited back. Which means even more free viral marketing exposure, correct?
But getting back to the initial number of views for this particular video. Entrepreneur as your brand visibility and potentially profitable brand awareness steadily grows.
So do you or your major competitors chances to power network steadily grow as well. 😀 Clearly doing as many relevant guest podcasting opportunities as you can reasonably handle.
Means you usually don’t have to leave the comfort of your home or office. (Unless you want to. 😀 )
You Or I May Not Ever Be Invited To Appear On One Of The Top 50 Rated Podcasts In Your Particular Niche! (So What!)
There’s still a ton of previously untapped opportunities to over deliver for your specific target audience. And in terms of systematically leveraging these opportunities into potentially lucrative speaking engagements.
You or major competitors can and definitely should start out speaking locally. (In order to get your feet wet and “discover” your true speaking voice/style.)
Then as you gain both more confidence and steadily polish your live presentation skills. You or your major competitors can gradually scale up as high as you wish to go. Or go as high as your presentation skills will take you.
If or once you make it to the corporate or annual mega conference speaking/keynote level. At those levels you or your major competitors. Are probably being paid low to just under mid level four figures per engagement. 😀
Plus you’re strategically power networking like crazy. You’re at events where anywhere from 10-40% or more of those in attendance.
Can either JV (Joint Venture) revenue share with you. Cross promote or systematically refer you both new business or projects. All because you or I initially started out as either a guest on their totally rocking podcast, blog or both. 😎
(And BTW ladies & gentlemen. Would it really be such a bad thing. If you only earned $2,500 dollars gross per speaking engagement. And you consistently did one every quarter? 😎
Stop Initially Swinging For The Fence! (And Instead Enthusiastically Embrace The Lower Hanging Fruit Marketing Opportunities!
Ladies & gentlemen once or as soon as you or your major competitors start consistently earning a minimum of $5,000 dollars or more per your 90 minute presentations.
You do realize if you only speak on average just once every 90 days or so. Or once every quarter. You or your major competitors are earning/grossing an additional $20,000 dollars a year, correct?
After deducting your silent partner. (Your federal Governments part. 😀 ) It’s still a respectable sum for your time invested. Don’t you agree?
For these and many other reasons. Don’t you think you can now justify the time investment into both creating and maintaining a digital marketing campaign or two? I sincerely hope so! (So get to it already!)
