This Is Why You Should Play And Build Your Own Sandbox!
If you already have ladies & gentlemen. To date what is the size of the largest podcast audience you have appeared on? Or how many visitors does the largest blog you’ve written guest blog post for?
Here’s the primary reason why I’m asking you this critically important question. While it definitely strokes your/our egos in a major way. To shamelessly brag about how many downloads the particular podcast you and i and or your major competitors appeared on.
Unless or until you and I start or build your own sandbox to play in as often as you like. You may find your opportunities to constantly and strategically expand.
To become extremely limited. Because if the big boys & girls reject your/our offers to appear as one of their guests. Or for whatever reasons, invite you and I on to their shows. Then for whatever reasons they and they alone.
Decide not to publish/share your/our particular episode and or publish your/our particular guest blog post. Where does that ultimately leave you entrepreneur?
Consistently Creating Digital Assets You Ultimately Own And Control! (Is Most Definitely Your Best Long Term Alternative!)
To directly answer one of the questions I asked in the paragraph above. To date I’ve appeared on at least two mega influential podcasts.
The first is the dynamic Kerry Lutz’s (FSN) Financial Survival Network podcast. (Which is the Youtube video featured directly below.) And at the time. Kerry’s outrageously popular podcast averaged in excess of 200,000 downloads per episode.
Which is just one of the reasons why. He is able to sell 30 second ad rolls spots. Typically in the intro, middle and outro portions of his podcast.
At $5,000 dollars each. Who knows, maybe it’s actually even more expensive now. 😀
Entrepreneur Make Darn Sure At Least Some If Not Most Of Your So Called Income Producing Activities Involve Playing In Your Own Sandbox!
Otherwise you and I seriously run the risk of constantly being at the mercy of someone else’s permission. Sadly, some of you have bought into the illusion of being extremely active all over social media. Of course you and I should be proactively leveraging social media as often as possible.
(But not be solely dependent on it. Simply because you/we don’t own nor control it!) Sadly, in the time you invest in both reading this particular blog post. And hopefully watching the Youtube video too. 😀
Ladies & gentlemen, somewhere in the world. Some aspiring entrepreneur, (hopefully not you!) Is either having their social media account(s) temporarily or permanently shutdown for the final time.
And if for whatever reasons. They (or you!) Still haven’t at least started building your own opt in email list(s.) What real good does or will it have benefited you!
If you wake up tomorrow. And your 300K X (aka) Twitter followers. Or your 275K Instagram followers are all gone. And your account(s) are permanently shutdown.
Don’t Or Stop Building Your Business Or Service On Digital Quicksand!

OF Course It’s Okay To Leverage Other Profit Seeking Entrepreneurs Platforms! (Just Don’t Become Totally Or Heavily Reliant On Them!)
Both guest podcasting and guest blogging are definitely proven marketing strategies for?
1.) Proving or demonstrating your expertise and skill in front of a laser targeted audience. Who volunteered to tune in! 😀
2.) Consistently generating some potentially beneficial, long term, off page SEO (Search Engine Optimization) benefits for you and or your major competitors.
3.) Expanding your brand visibility for literally pennies on the dollar.
4.) Definitely helps you and or your major competitors strategically build, some potentially, mutually beneficial, long term relationships. (Just to name a few potentially valuable benefits for you to seriously consider . 😎
But You And I Definitely Can’t Totally Control What You Don’t Own!
So in the end. Whether you and I can or will continually be invited to either guest blog or be podcast guest. Ladies & gentlemen. It’s definitely best for your long term peace of mind.
You and I constantly play and build your own sandbox. So at the end of the day. You and you alone! Decide not only “what” type of content to publish on your own self hosted website and or blog. (WordPress or otherwise!) But “how” often you publish it too.
Of course you and I and or your major competitors will definitely continue to leverage all of the aforementioned opportunities.
But you won’t be solely dependent on them. Make sense? I sincerely hope so!
