So when you hear me and others say blog traffic generation is definitely still worth the effort. Make no mistake about it. The more laser targeted traffic you or your major competitors can consistently drive to your self hosted WordPress blog.
Or e-commerce site etc. Doing so is the initial bridge to other potentially profitable marketing/promotional possibilities.
And this isn’t about you and I driving massive amounts of traffic to your site. (Of course that’s a really good thing. :-D) But the regular eyeballs you and I are targeting. They can and will enthusiastically help make up for not initially having massive amounts of traffic.
Because they can periodically like, share, link and comment on your/our extremely helpful content. This is your/our bridge to other potentially profitable opportunities. Don’t you agree?
Your Proactive Blogging Efforts Are The Springboard To Some Creative Marketing Ideas!
Just because your blog content doesn’t automatically or consistently rank on the 1st two pages of Google. Or any of the other major search engines. For the long tail keyword phrases you’re targeting.
Doesn’t mean your/our strategically chosen content, isn’t incredibly valuable. Case in point. Whatever your specific niche is. You’re definitely way better off. By driving your traffic directly to your self hosted WordPress blog.
For one thing you and you alone, 100% own and control your content. You can publish the exact content you want. (And hopefully your content is laser focused on serving your ideal audience.
Sure you can start off on some of the other free, highly visible blogging platforms. But who ultimately owns or controls the content, if or when your account gets temporarily or permanently shutdown?
You put in all the work to create your problem solved content. And poof it’s gone or temporarily interrupted. And the exact thing holds true for building your brand & brand currency primarily on social media.

Remember, expecting a first time visitor to your blog to make any type of purchase. Is the equivalent of consistently hitting the 3 quarter length shot in basketball. Good luck with that! 🙂
Entrepreneur there are definitely more pros than cons. For you & I to consistently publish content on your self hosted blog. Your tribe will become more & more attracted by and from your content.
And more & more engaged too. It definitely takes time & continuous effort. But at the end of the day. Your proactive blog traffic generation efforts are definitely still worth it. Don’t you agree?
