Why The Overall Size Of Your Advertising Budget Isn’t The Real Issue!

   (But It Will Remain A Major Issue Unless Or Until You Take Your Marketing Game To The Very Next Level Or Two!)

Do you see the outrageous sums of money, the most deep corporate brands spend on traditional advertising? They’ll spend, (make that waste!) a ton of money. On outrageously expensive, dismally performing, traditional ad or promotional campaigns.

All in the name of building, so called “brand awareness.” And their ad budgets constantly swell. Larger than a super star athletes ego. (Well maybe not quite that large. 😎 )

The truth told. It’s not necessarily about “how” large your current advertising budget is. Instead you or your major competitors need to laser focus on systematically increasing your current and future market share. Don’t you agree?

Isn’t It Amazing What You Or Your Major Competitors Can Accomplish? (When You Laser Focus On Some Proven Income Generating Activities!)

Of course you’re wondering ‘what” type of income generating activities, right? Well, any time you and or your major competitors, can inexpensively make your marketing/promotional campaigns go viral.

You not only save a ton of money on the initial front end of your sales funnel. But you or your major competitors simultaneously position yourself, to perpetually make a ton of money on the long term back end of your sales funnel as well.

And when you can consistently do so, for literally pennies on the dollar. Who can possibly argue against such a potentially profitable marketing/promotional strategy?

Sometimes The Bigger Your Initial Front End Marketing Generosity Is! (The More Profitable Your Long Term Residual Back End Benefits Are!)

Case in point. (And as always. The following hypothetical marketing examples. Are strictly for marketing illustration purposes only.) What ‘if” a retail jeweler with extremely deep corporate pockets.

Did a simple A/B split marketing test. They took their traditional $10 million dollar ad/promotional budget. And cut it in half. Strategy “A” gets $5 million or X amount of total ad/promotional dollars.

And the less conventional strategy “B”  budget got the other $5 million or X amount of dollars. Traditional advertising strategy “A” goes the outrageously expensive promotional route.

They pay a ton of money to buy outrageously expensive full page ads in glitzy women’s fashion magazines. And pay top super models  to showcase their extremely popular bling.

Plus pay big bucks to the top corporate ad agencies. Who place their ads all over the place.

Now Let’s Get Serious About Systematically Generating  A Ton Of Positive Word Of Mouth And Mouse Exposure!

Less traditional strategy “B” goes a couple of steps further. By effectively utilizing some proven direct response marketing strategies & tactics. Coupled with a potentially profitable JV (Joint Venture) revenue sharing component.

In the middle of each outrageously popular  women’s magazine they advertise in. The readers, (99% of whom!) are women. 😀 For an extremely limited time. They can purchase 3 or X number of years of the magazine.

And save a staggering 67 or X% off the current retail rate. And for doing so. They simply join the retail jewelers opt in email list. And they get to purchase one diamond studded necklace.

Which typically retails for $3,700 dollars dollars or X. They can purchase it for slightly less than the actual hard costs. So they only pay $1,500 dollars.

And let’s say of their 1.5 million paid subscribers. An impressive 115,000 women go for  this particular offer. (Entrepreneur can you say positive word of mouth and mouse power tsunami! 😎 )

Is your calculator handy? Wanna multiply 115,000 x 25 ? I’ll let you do the math. 😀 Because each of these 115,000 women all know at least 25 other women, correct?

So What Do You Thinks Keeps Continually Happening Next?

First of all. This extremely marketing savvy retail jeweler. Just literally quadrupled their usual response rates. For literally half of “what” they typically invest. That one major benefit alone.

Should make both the owners and upper management extremely happy and profitable, correct? 😎 And there is a 10X chance. At least a certain percentage of those 115,000 women.

Who in essence, now become 24/7 walking. talking brand ambassador building mega influencers in their own right. Some of them will continuously share their extremely good fortune.

With a whole lot more than 25 other local women. Don’t you agree? 😎 The main point being. As word definitely continues to spread both on & offline.

About the retail jeweler who partners with outrageously popular women’s magazines. And their subscribers are strutting around in some awesome looking bling.
