So What’s Wrong With Strategically Growing Your Business Or Service?

 (Even During A Local Recession!)

Typically, during any type of local recession. For the most part. Both business owner and or service providers tend to start scaling back on their traditional advertising or traditional promotional campaigns, right? And usually for good reasons. Because who’s going to keep playing the outrageously expensive, hit and miss game using traditional ad campaigns.

And or traditional advertising mediums. Especially when there’s some proven alternatives. To at least be inexpensively tested and tweaked. Ladies & gentlemen strategically growing your business. Involves nothing more than systematically applying the proven fundamentals. Which we all at least already know and apply some of them periodically, right?

You Get Pretty Darn Good At Effective Lead Generation! (And You Ad Or Your Major Competitors Have Definitely An Incredibly Valuable Skill!)

Take a look at the featured image with this particular post. Do you really think those birds are swarming all around that guy. Because he has “Brad Pitt” or “Denzel Washington”, movie start looks and or charisma? Or because he can sing and perform like “Katy Perry” or “Taylor Swift!”  (Not a freaking chance!)

But simply because he or you and I. (And or your major competitors have studied the wants of your ideal target audience. He gives them exactly “what” they want. And they in turn are extremely attracted to him. Almost like a magnetic, right?

So imagine a far more practical, real life example. (And as always. It’s strictly for hypothetical marketing illustration purposes only!) So you own a single location, non franchised gourmet coffee shop.

And just think about “how” relatively small their or your particular marketing/promotional budget is. You certainly don’t have the type of extremely deep pockets. To invest in those outrageously expensive! (And not to be ignored, incredibly wasteful, dismally performing local billboard ads.

Entrepreneur Keep An Open Mind For Discovering And Implementing Non Traditional Marketing Strategies And Tactics!

Or full or half page ads in one of your areas most circulated, (and therefore most expensive!) local newspapers.

Sure you can and definitely should be rocking social media whenever possible. But “what’ happens, when or ‘if’ your account(s.) Either gets temporarily or permanently shutdown entrepreneur?

If it can routinely happen to some of the Internets top seven plus figure a year earners. “Why” pray tell, can’t it happen to you and I? (And BTW, that video podcast appearance on the dynamin Mac Attrams, “Business Success Show” podcast. Will definitely open  you and or your major competitors marketing eyes extremely wide.)

So Why Not Initially Start Off By Strategically Leveraging The Assets And Resources You have Both Direct And Indirect Access To?

Meaning, “what” if you and or your major competitors purchased, (say to begin with.) Maybe 1,000 “Big Gulp” plastic cups. And just gave them away to other local business owners and or service providers within  20-30 block radius of your shop.

And the are free to give them away to both their current, future employees. As well as their current and future vendors. And of course! Their current and future customers and or clients etc.

Let’s further say. Your typical retail price for your incredibly great tasting, gourmet coffee “Big gulp” beverage. Is usually $11.99 or X per cup. But with this incredibly simple, potentially profitable strategy. Every cup holder simply brings their cup in with them. And every time they do. Instead of paying the usual retail price of $11.999 or X.

They only pay $3.99 or X per cup! (Say what?)

A.) Will they definitely frequent you and or your major competitors shop more often? (You better hurry up and know it!)

B.) Will they be constantly bragging both on and off of social media far more often?

C.) Will a percentage of them make additional back end purchases. And pay the usual retail price when they do?

D. ) Can you see a potential windfall marketing strategy. Staring you in the face? Just begging to be inexpensively tested and tweaked. 😀  If not, contact me via my blogs contact page.
