Want even more undeniable proof? Google any 2-5 long tail keyword phrase of your choice. And watch “how” searches you’ll see for it. Some obviously will be relatively low. While others will be offer the charts, agreed?
Because here’s “what’s” so potentially valuable and potentially profitable about consistently utilizing a non traditional, extremely ow cost, low hanging fruit lead generation strategy.
Entrepreneur each additional incremental step steadily builds of the last one. And so on and so forth. Which definitely makes sense, does it not?
How’s This For A Potentially Profitable Word Of Mouth Marketing Strategy?
If you and I could see “how” much money and other extremely valuable resources are literally wasted seven days per week.
On outrageously expensive, traditional advertising campaigns. Just in your particular city or town per day. Some “if’ not most of of you would find it hard to believe.
Because when you and I attempt to use outrageously expensive traditional advertising methods. Whether it’s local newspaper, PPC (Pay Per Click), local prime time radio or TV ads etc.
For the most part ladies and gentlemen. Once your ad runs. Regardless of the outcome. You and I are still out of the money, correct?
If your fancy direct snail mail post card fail to deliver the right customized benefits to your target audience. It probably routinely gets trashed. Along with all of the other perceived junk mail.
On the other hand. Sometimes (but certainly not in all cases.) You and I for literally a fraction of the usual cost.
You can and definitely should for a fraction of the typical cost. You can inexpensively A/b split test yourself into an incredibly profitable marketing strategy or two.
There Are More Potential Local Goodwill Ambassadors Just Waiting To Be Discovered And Ethically Bribed By You And Or Your Major Competitors!
Case in point. Take a popular local mall. And let’s say it has a grand total 150 stores altogether. Seventy five per floor. And it has a total of two floors. Let’s say each floor pledges to invest $50 or X number of dollars per day.
Into a general marketing/promotional fund. These funds will then be used to create a ton of positive word of mouth and mouse exposure. And literally cause a flood of first time and long term repeat customers, referrals, testimonials and goodwill to be created.
For literally pennies on the dollar. Say strictly for hypothetical marketing purposes only. example. This particular mall has a grand total of 1,200 full and part time employees.
Working in all the stores combined. Plus the full and part time employees directly and indirectly employed by the mall itself. Including the top level administrators, who are also employed by the owners of the mall.
All It Takes Is A Few Vocal Men And Women Of Various Degrees Of Influence To Put The Word In For You And Or Your Major Competitors!
And the more they do the more visible you and I become. Because let’s face it already. Personal recommendations is definitely one of the highest forms of proactive marketing.
Because it takes far less traditional advertising or promotional dollars to consistently generate long term results.
Sure if or once you and I develop effective ad writing skills. You can start scaling up your traditional ad dollars. But it definitely takes time, effort and patience for you or I or an outside source to develop these type of skills.
But zeroing in on a potentially profitable, non traditional lead generation strategy. Suppose this local, non franchised retail appliance store at least inexpensively tested the following marketing/promotional strategy.
First they start by ethically bribing all the current and future employees of the store owners located within the mall. And this also includes all the current and future employees who are both directly and indirectly employed by the mall itself.
Let’s say strictly for the sake of a reasonable hypothetical marketing example. Of the 1,200 or X number of potentially employees involved.
About 80% of them or 960 people take advantage of the retail appliance centers extremely time sensitive offer. (1,200 x .80% = 960.)
Entrepreneur You And Or Your Major Competitors Will Be Amazed What A Laser Focused Group Of Goodwill Ambassadors Can Continuously Accomplish For A Fraction Of The Traditional Cost!
There’s a certain multi billion dollar a year generating retail sales and recruiting industry. Which suggest you and I typically know at least 250 people each.
(Entrepreneur care to multiply 960 times 250? That’s an awful lot of potential prospects, is it not?) So let’s dial it back just a bit. And say 960 people all know at least 25 other local people. Is that more reasonable?
(960 x 25 = 24,000.) And typically about 30% of whatever this total figure turns out to be. These 30 or X% are primed to become you or your major competitors brand new first time customers within the next 60 or X number of days or less. (960 x 25 = 24,000 x .30% = 7,200.)
So in this particular hypothetical example. A respectable 7,200 locals on average spend $425 dollars each or X. Which means the extremely marketing savvy retail appliance owner(s) just grossed a respectable $3,060,000 dollars in gross initial front end profits.
And the long term gross back end profits have yet to be harvested. Entrepreneur “how” can you afford to continue to ignore this type of potentially profitable, non traditional lead generation strategy?
