To this point in your entrepreneurial journey. You may or may not think some type of direct selling strategies and tactics may be extremely helpful or profitable.

But the truth is entrepreneur, the faster you can move both your ideal prospects and customers/clients to the very next level or two. The less financial and less emotional stress you and your team will be experienced.

And there’s certainly no valid reason(s) “why” you and I can’t strategically sprinkle in some creative marketing tactics here and there, correct? If you agree by all means turn the page and have a much closer look.

In This Current Business Environment You Definitely Ned To Be Systematically Utilizing Some Type Of Direct Marketing Strategies And Tactics!

Try this hypothetical marketing scenario. Which is just being used for hypothetical marketing illustration purposes only. Suppose your retail furniture store is constantly on the lookout for some non traditional lead generation opportunities.

And some of the best types are the ones which are previously untapped. Which is “why” you reach out to a few established local interior designers. Because you already know they’ll be semi to full engaged on social media, correct?

And their social media engagement will be probably not be exclusively limited to Facebook, Linkedin, Instagram or Tik-Tok etc. So one of the very first ways you and or your major competitors will strategically leverage the interior designers current and future personal & professional inner circles.

For literally pennies on the dollar. Is by allowing them to either re-decorate their home or office or both. With some of your best furniture. (Which was about to go on or is currently being discontinued.

So you gladly allow them to purchase your furniture at either your actual cost and or for just ten or twenty percent above your actual cost. This way whenever their siblings, current, past or future neighbors, besties, current or future employees, current or future in-laws stop by to visit etc.

They get to see some of you and or your major competitors best looking furniture. And it will be arranged by a seasoned pro. And o course you know the interior designer as well as a percentage of those previously mentioned.

They will take both pictures as well as videos of her home and constantly post them all over social media, right?

Entrepreneur Power Networking Means Power Networking!

Now let’s have a much closer look at just “how” potentially deep this particular JV (Joint Venture) revenue sharing arrangement could be and or ultimately become.

For one thing the interior designer currently has a full time secretary, who also handles 90-95% of the office an administrative duties. And she also employs two additional workers. One full and one part time.

(And remember your marketing numbers metrics.) Meaning each person knows at least 25 other locals. In the case of the successful interior designer. Between her current, past and future customers alone. She probably knows close to 200-500 different locals.

Both directly and indirectly. Which is why your retail furniture store is more than glad to offer each of the interior designers employees.

And by extension the people they know as well. Some of your best market tested, two sided, extremely time sensitive gift certificates. Side (A.) invites the recipient to join your opt in email list.

So they can enter your free monthly or quarterly drawing. For their chance to win a “Deluxe Furniture” makeover. With a suggested retail value of $10,000 dollars.

(Truth told you or you major competitors actual hard cost or half or slightly less.) Side (B.) invites the recipient to your store, within a ten or X day expiration date window.

They come alone and they save 10 or X% up to $200 or X amount of dollars. However, simply for dragging a friend with them whose as least 18. Before the ten or X day expiration date window expires.

They can save a maximum of 40 or X% up to $2,000 or X amount of dollars.

This Is Where Is Your Strategic Ethical Bribery Can And Definitely Will Make A Ton Of Difference! (Especially Long Term!)

And of course as long as their guests also joins you and or your major competitors opt in email list before they leave your store that day. They can save 30 or X% up to $1,000 or X amount of dollars.

But “if” for whatever reasons the guests decide not to join your list. They can save 10 or X% off up to $200 or X amount of dollars. And the interior designer can also teach a virtual or live class via the local adult education centers.

And the class will be titled, “How To Tastefully Decorate Your Home Or Apartment As If You Paid A High End Interior Decorator!” (Even Though You Didn’t!)

Obviously this 90 or X minute class is targeting locals “who” want to discover some proven insider tips for decorating their home. For literally pennies on the dollar.

But for the extremely marketing savvy interior designer. His or her motives are to strategically create some ideal local prospects for their JV revenue sharing retail furniture partner.

Because every person who attends the class live or virtual. They’ll be given an extremely time sensitive gift certificate to the retail furniture store. And the first ten customers who convert to leads for the furniture store.

The interior designer earns a JV commission of $50 dollars per lead converted to customer. However, every lead converted to customer going forward. The interior designer.

Spread The Benefits Around And Watch What Starts To Consistently Happen To Your Bottom Line!

As well as every one of his or her employees who decide to participate in this JV revenue sharing arrangement. They along with all of him or her current or future employees. They now receive a maximum of $150 dollars per customer converted per lead.

So in a months time, ten leads converted to paying customers. Regardless of how much or how little these customers initially spend. (Because the retail furniture is banking on all of the long term repeat sales, written or video testimonials as well the recurring referrals etc.)
