so Who Else Wants To Benefit From Some Proven Back End Marketing Strategies And Tactics?

So have you heard or read the fascinating story about ‘how” and “why” twitter was originally created? If not you definitely should. Because it is a classic-real world- case study of “why” back end marketing strategies and tactics.

Can be or ultimately become so incredibly lucrative. Twitter as we know it today. grew off the or out of the back end of a totally different digital process.

And the remainder of this particular post is (hopefully!) going to shed some much needed light on “how” potential profitable. The long term back end of your business or service can be or ultimately become.

Provided you and I (A.) truly understand and embrace these previously untapped marketing/promotional opportunities. And (B.) you’re not fully locked into only seeing the traditional surface marketing o promotional possibilities. Are you up for this challenge or not?

Entrepreneur Isn’t It Time You Definitely Stop leaving Money On The Table?

For this (hopefully!) extremely eye opening marketing example. Ladies & gentleman there is a very successful, (albeit) retired real estate guru. Who like a gazillion others. Initially started out doing incredibly popular “how To” seminars in his home state. And as the popularity and success of his live two day workshops continually grew.

And as he started to appear on more and more. First local then national radio. then he gradually over time went from quarter page ads in various local newspapers promoting his workshops.

To eventually graduating to full page ads. Which even back in his hey day weren’t necessarily cheap. And of course his company also had to pay X to rent a room which typically held a maximum of 400-500 locals.

And typically he promoted, (as did the vast majority of his major competitors back then!) He promoted a free 90 minute “How To” Invest In Real Estate Using Creative Financing (aka) No Money Down Methods, introductory workshop.

And usually out o a local crowd of 500 locals. Usually about 25% would be impressed enough to invest (even back then) $595 dollars each to attend his actual two day workshop event. ( 500 x .25% = 125 x $595 each = a gross front end profit of $74,375 dollars. Minus all of his front end marketing/advertising/promotional expenses. Which started to include back of the room staff. (Probably initially paid X per hour.)

Who processed both credit card and cash purchases. Which also meant his company definitely had credit card merchant account fees of some kind.

But as you can clearly see, he consistently grossed more than enough on the initial front end of his marketing funnel.

To more than justify paying for full and half a page ads in the the most highly circulated newspapers in his immediate local area.

The Initial Front End Of Your Business Or Service Is The Seed For The Potentially Lucrative Back End Of Your Business Or Service!

Eventually as both the continual success of his live workshop information and he and his teams marketing expertise and sophistication grew. He started creating these incredibly polished 30- 60 minute info-mercial pre workshop programs. And back then in order to create an extremely high quality project. He and his major competitors could some for somewhere between $5-$7K 9thousand dollars.)

Now he could simply run these pre -workshop videos, (initially locally.) Later nationally via cheap dead air cable TV time. Which is basically between 1:00 am – 6: 00 am.

And once he added the toll free number(s) with different department numbers. So he and his extremely marketing savvy team knew which parts of the country consistently yielded the best ROI (Return On Investment.)

By this time he also added his studio recorded and workbook materials. And sold them right from the info-mercial. Basically using proven direct response marketing strategies and tactics.

Basically about every ten minutes or so. In between him partially explaining a concept he fully disclosed in his paid course. And those student testimonials strategically sprinkled in. He’d flash the toll free number viewers could call and order.

And it wasn’t very long before his incredibly popular, direct response 30-60 minute info-mercials also strategically included free information bonus materials. For the first X amount of viewers who ordered his home study course.

Which back then retailed for an impressive $295 dollars plus shipping and handling.

Typically As Your Marketing Sophistication Grows! (So Does Your Back End Marketing Possibilities!)

His publishing company also created a monthly newsletter. Which retailed for $127 dollars a year. And of course every one who purchased his home study course. Also received a free three month, (90 day trial subscription.)

And obviously X% of those trial members upgraded to a full twelve month subscription. Entrepreneur are you starting to better appreciate the long term promotional possibilities.

Strictly by understanding back end marketing strategies and tactics. He also started giving the locals who attended his free 90 minute intro presentation. You guessed it. A free 90 day trial membership to his newsletter.

Because remember. O average out of a crowd of 500. About 25-30% of them invested in his two live workshop. So ‘what” about the remaining 75-80 or X% who didn’t? By giving every attendee a free 90 day trial membership.

His incredibly marketing savvy team accomplished a bare bones minimum of three potentially profitable money making goals.

1.) First: He was able to build an enormous offline database of potential future customers for either his $295 dollar home study course. Or his now incredibly lucrative five day “Millionaire Maker’s Creative Real Estate Investing Bootcamp” events.

Which even back then typically started at $5,000 dollars per person. Or any two individuals for a total investment of $8,000 dollars. (And o course every student who enrolled in his higher end Bootcamp event.

Automatically got recordings of the five day event. Plus a free copy of his $295 dollar home study course. And a free three year subscription to his newsletter.

All told this added another X amount o dollars in overall perceived value.

Once There’s Enough Money Consistently Coming In Through The Initially Front End Of Your Marketing Funnel! (Then You Can And Definitely Should Get Creative On The Long Term Back End Of Your marketing Funnel!)

 2.) Second: His expert marketing department could also sell, rent or JV (Joint Venture) revenue share any profits made from sharing the names of all his subscribers who didn’t buy any of his products or services.

And this proven strategy alone more than offset the front end costs for toll free numbers. And constantly growing staff and commercial leases etc.

 3.) Third: He could also periodically send them extremely time sensitive direct snail mail offers of all kinds. (As his hey day was pre-internet.) Including high end JV offers from other marketers.
