Marketing exposure

This Is Proof Positive All Marketing Exposure Is Definitely Not Equal!

Who doesn’t want or need not only a steady stream of new customers. But a steady stream of repeat customers. Especially when they can consistently generate them for literally pennies on the dollar. On paper the theory sounds pretty good, does it not?

Which is ‘why” you definitely have to understand not all marketing exposure is equal, right? Because sometimes you and I can generate various types of inexpensive marketing exposure.

And whether it’s digital or not it may not lead to very much. Like in the case of your brand new self hosted blog. Regardless of whether your blogging platform is WordPress or not. Unless you or someone you know is incredibly skilled in both on and off page SEO (Search Engine Optimization.)

Your new site and the blog posts you publish probably won’t be ranking very high in any of the major search engines any time soon. on the other hand if or once you start consistently landing strategic guest podcasting or guest blogging opportunities on blogs or podcasts with authority.

Then your blog posts specifically and your blog in general will definitely start gaining traction. Provided your content marketing strategy is practical and you’re consistent with it.

Consistently Implementing A Strategic Marketing Process Is Definitely A Proven Form Of Leverage!

Of course you already appreciate the fact. Any time your marketing or promoting on the initial front end can ethically bribe your ideal prospects or current customers or clients to drag a semi qualified prospect with them.

And more than likely the person they drag is typically 250-500% more likely to at least make an initial low cost front end purchase, correct? As opposed to spending a fortune on mass marketing of some kind.

You definitely have to test your PPC (Pay Per Click) ad campaigns. Otherwise you run the increasing risks of your front end ad/marketing costs causing your campaigns to ultimately become upside down. (Translated you’re constantly losing money going in.)

The point being. Say you run some type of promotion where 37 or X% of your ideal prospects or current customers drag a friend with them to your store. (Preferably before the stated expiration date.)

Let’s say you’re the owner of an incredibly popular, non franchised retail appliance store. And you’re running such a promotion for the next x number of days. each day what “if’ you or your major competitors allow the person who drug someone to your store whose at least 18 before the expiration date window expires.

You Strategically Give Just A Little More On The Initial Front End Of Your Sales Funnel! (And Watch What Systematically Starts To Happen On The Often Neglected Or Totally Ignored Back End!)

You ethically bribe them with two really cool word of mouth and mouse generating bonuses worth X. First for the next 72 or X number of days/hours only. (And provided they’re still one of your opt in email subscribers.) They can purchase any one product up to $,1000 or X number of dollars at your actual hard cost. Say what?

And as long their guests joins your list before they leave your store. They automatically get to purchase any one item up to $750 or X number of dollars at your actual cost.

And you also get a $25 or X dollar gift certificate to a popular local supermarket. And your guest gets one for $10 for X amount of dollars. (Obviously the friends gift certificate value is less than the person who drug the to your store. Just saying.)

The main point being. Entrepreneur the pure mathematics reveals to you. There is no way to justify ethically bribing your ideal prospects or customers who don’t drag anyone with them.

The same amount you do for your ideal prospects or customers who do. Your marketing generosity has to be laser focused, does it not? Just like any prospect using a totally free version of your service can’t expect to have the same access as your paying customers, right?

Both your time and financial resources have to be allocated to both your paying customers and extremely high paying customers or clients. Otherwise those additional costs will quickly add up.

Sadly Most Aspiring Entrepreneurs Just Lump Everyone Altogether! (Not Realizing This A Proven Recipe For Long Term Disaster!)

And speaking of all marketing exposure definitely not being equal. As some you know I was recently a guest on Kerry Lutz’s incredibly popular “Financial Survival Network” podcast. (Thanks again Kerry for that fabulous opportunity.)

Kerry’s podcast currently ranks number six in his niche. (We’re talking worldwide here BTW. Just saying.) And he averages an impressive 200,000 downloads per episode. (Just click the image below in order to watch the entire 22 minute episode.)

When You’re Deciding Which Podcasts To Appear On! (It Definitely Makes Your Decision A Whole Easier If One Particular Podcast Has A Ton Of Subscribers! Right?)

So the $64k thousand dollar simply becomes. It’s better to invest your time and resources on appearing as a guest on a podcast with somewhere between 50- 500 subscribers.

Or one which routinely has just north of 200,000 downloads per episode. And let’s say each podcast typically has a half of one percent of their subscribers who could technically be considered influencer-s.

A half of one percent of 500 is just 2.5, correct? While a half of one percent of 200,000 equals 1,000 potential influencers. Who you or your major competitors could potentially appear on their shows.

And have them systematically promote your episode via twitter, FB, Linkedin, streamyard, twitch or youtube etc. and in Kerry’s case. The episode I appeared currently ranks on the 1st page of youtube for two different terms.

1.) It currently ranks for the highly competitive long term keyword phrase “double your cash flow.” 2.) As well as “how to double your cash flow.”  Granted the second term Kerry’s episode is currently near the bottom of page one.

Which means in the not so distant future it may not even rank on page one at all. But for now currently ranking on the first page for two different long term keyword phrases.

Hopefully demonstrates to you. All marketing exposure definitely is not equal. Don’t you agree?
