2.) Proven sales strategy # two: My friend if you run a successful coffee shop or retail store etc. If you’re not consistently creating free sample kits, to give away to your best repeat customers, your leaving a ton of money on table.

For ex: let’s say you’re ready to test a new exotic coffer flavor. create a huge sign and on Monday & Tuesday mornings between the hours of 6:00 am -11:00 am, every customer that spends over X amount of dollars gets a free sample cup of your new flavor.

Likewise, let’s say you want to inexpensively test some new women s fragrance, pass out free samples on certain days, contingent upon your customer spending a bare bones minimum of X amount of dollars.

For two primary reasons.

A.) First, if only paying customers get to sample your new fragrances, if they like it, they’re far more likely to buy it!

B.) Where as, if they get a free sample and they don’t have to spend any money, to qualify for this particular bonus, their simply not as committed. Of course it goes without saying, there are times, when simply giving away a ‘No strings attached” free lead generating offer is valid. Just not in this particular case.

Tests have proven overwhelmingly, that when restaurants give away coupons, only after the customer has spent at least $100 dollars or more (over time) of course, they generally do  much  better with their coupon offers.

As opposed to simply giving a complete stranger (new first time potential) a $25 dollar drinking voucher.

Because in 95% of the cases, the first time visitor, simply drinks right up to the voucher limit, doesn’t buy anything, and then leaves!

3.) Proven sales strategy # three: This last proven sales increasing strategy has to do with the speed at which your site loads. Of course it comes as no surprise, the longer it takes your site to load, the less time  your visitors (especially) your all important first time visitors will stick around.

Ever gone into your local Super market’s deli section, and saw that long line, with just one over worked clerk, trying to serve all those anxious shoppers? And you simply  decided not to stick around.
